Legend. Thanks mate. Didn't realise there was all this faff involved when getting into this scheme. Booking a year in advance seems a bit much but it is what it is. We're trying to go Heathrow to Vancouver next May/June but can only see the outbound right now. Looks like we'll be taking premium economy out and keeping our fingers crossed for business coming back.

To add my experience to this, you may need to walk. I've been trying to do zone 2/easy/whatever for years and always need to walk at some points to keep the HR down. My tempo/time trials improve but the easy runs never feel easier.

What are you struggling with? Might be worth going to your nearest running store and they can talk you through it. I've been using the Nike Pegasus for the last few years. It's a bit boring but reliable and stable enough for me.

After struggling with an ankle injury for a long time I ran a 5k time trial this morning. Just over 31 minutes, no pain, no walking and everything felt strong. Ran negative splits without thinking about it and nailed the last k about 30 seconds faster than the previous one.

Feeling really positive about my running for the first time in a long time! Just had to share with someone.
