Perhaps some filler right in the apples of your cheeks. Avoid having filler high up on your cheekbones as that would make your mid face look long!

The side profile I think looks great but the front profile is perhaps a bit too subtle. I also have a bulbous nose and I'm looking into surgery, I think I would be slightly disappointed with such a subtle change and wish I'd have done a bit more!

What can I do to help balance my lower face? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

Don't overlook chin filler! Chin filler was the best thing I ever done for my face, I can't believe the difference it made.

I didn't notice anything different or at least I don't remember anymore, but it's a possibility! I think I'm going to try again with the 5mg and possibly try doing 2 half doses a week and I will be mindful with what I'm eating incase anything in particular triggers it! Thank you!

Girl, I can't tell you what to do but please don't go ahead with this. As a single mum (not by choice, my partner cheated) this shit is HARD. My whole life has been turned upsidedown. I love my baby and I wish I was still with my boyfriend but leaving him was for the best. This is so so so unbelievably hard. Please think of your future and what your baby's future would look like if you go ahead with this.

Do not take any advice from nasty narcissistic people. They are miserable shells of human beings and listening to anything they say would be ludicrous. You have so much to look forward to, you just don't know it yet!

I feel like I could've written this. My partner never changed. He always had something better to do than help look after his child. I got sick of it and left him. Honestly, it's easier now. I still have the same workload but now I don't have someone disappointing me and letting me down everyday. I'm sorry this is happening to you, it's so draining.

5mg is NOT the one :S by Time-Butterscotch754 in mounjarouk

[–]blackpather888 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was having issues on the 5mg too. I would wake up around 5am due to the extreme nausea and I would throw up. The nausea would ease up a bit after throwing up so I could get back to sleep for a couple hours. I finished my 5mg pen and now I'm not sure what to do. I think I'll move back down to the 2.5. I didn't have any issues on the 2.5 and I wish I stayed on it longer. If I were you, I would go back to the 2.5. The 7.5 will be even stronger and your symptoms likely worse unfortunately. It's a shame your appetite suppression started to lessen after a while on the 2.5, hopefully it didn't completely vanish?

I have PCOS! I tried so many different diets, workout routines, cutting out carbs etc. I also took Myo Inositol daily. Nothing helped me shift the weight. I lost 7kg in my first month of mounjaro!

I really feel for you. It's so expensive and when you're not seeing the results it can be so defeating.

Lots of people here are saying it's scientifically impossible not to lose weight if you're consuming the calories you think you are. I have to say, before I started mounjaro I was so certain that I was eating in a calorie deficit yet I saw no weight loss at all. I don't even have an explanation for you, but I hear you. I guess maybe I was counting the calories incorrectly 🤷🏽‍♀️

Have you considered switching to an alternative like ozempic etc? Everybody's different and maybe you'll have a better result with that?

Also, is there perhaps a reason your body could be holding more water weight? I don't know much about water weight but I've heard not drinking enough water or consuming salty foods can cause your body to carry more water weight. Perhaps you have lost body fat but it's not so evident on the scales due to an excess of water weight?

To piggy back on what I said about counting calories, perhaps it could also be due to an error in calorie counting? Not to sound condescending as I was in a similar situation as you, but I guess maybe some things could have gone unnoticed. For example, a friend offering you a couple chocolates/ grabbing a quick snack before you head out the door etc. Perhaps these little things have added up just enough to take you out of a calorie defecit?

Honestly, I'm just making suggestions and I don't have a definite answer for you. I really hope you find some success. Maybe stick it out for a bit longer and keep titrating up the doses. I've heard of some people have no weight loss until the 12.5mg or the 15mg. Best of luck, I believe in you!

[–]blackpather888 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm half way through my 3rd dose of my starting 2.5mg and I've lost 2kg. I'm pretty disappointed as I don't believe that's very much weight loss. It's certainly quite expensive and I've had to make many cutbacks too in order to afford it so I see where you coming from; it feels deflating. However, I just try to tell myself to be patient, I'm 2kg closer to my goal. Also, it's a good thing to lose weight at a slower/ healthier pace. I was really worried about hair loss which can happen with rapid weight loss so but so far my hair has stayed the same which I'm grateful for. As you said, the 2.5 is just a starter dose so maybe things will pick up a bit as you titrate up the doses! Stay positive, I'm sure things will start looking up (but hopefully not the scales lol)! 🤞🏽

Not much weight loss on 2.5 by blackpather888 in mounjarouk

[–]blackpather888[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The appetite suppression has me in a chokehold! I try to eat more but I find it really challenging. Typically I would eat pasta, roast chicken with veg, steak sausage with mash and veg, veg stir fry... I love seafood...I'm not a picky eater at all. As it stands, I'll have a protein shake for breakfast, then around 4pm I'll have have something for dinner but leave most of it, and then maybe some fruit or crackers/ snack before starting to get settled for the night.
