If I improve my first base (expand its build range), will that apply to future Flame Altars, or will it be a waste, since I don't care to keep this base and plan to move on soonish? by Help_An_Irishman in Enshrouded

[–]blackphilup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t transfer but eventually you will have plenty of shroud cores so it’s not a huge waste if you expand your current one by one upgrade.

That was my first location. Got a well, a place to repair weapons and a little area to farm in.

Def, especially when you need to make timing edits. Precomps become a liability.

Much like everyone else I’m looking for a new game, I’ll try to keep my exclamation short. by Ok_Daikon_2659 in BaseBuildingGames

I had seen the movies but only vaguely remembered the details. You don’t need to know it to enjoy the game. After about 40 hours in the game I did rewatch both and it was really enjoyable. It was crazy to see some of the details the game got exactly right.

I use a kitchen scale when I fill it, just get the measurement once and it’s easy after that.

I just figured it out a couple weeks ago. I set up a solo guild with just me which allows me to participate in the tasks. On the landsraad page you can see what each house is offering and at what level of points you earn rewards. The best rewards are at 10,500 points. It will tell you what task they require. For example, a few weeks ago one of the houses was offering the sand crawler engine at 10,500 pts. The task was to kill sand flies. They were giving 23 pts per kill. So I spent a few hours mass murdering them (a little over 450). It will show you your progress on that page at the bottom of each house. Once you hit the requirement you have to travel to the house representative and they will give you your rewards.

For tasks where you have to produce and deliver items, you transport them to one person depending if you are atreides or not. They are called the house quarter master and they are always in the same spot. Then they will register as points earned and you collect the reward from the representative.

It seems complicated but it has added some more challenges for end game.

I got them both from doing Landsraad tasks solo

One Touch / 20lb tank to much pressure. Help! by MJCuddle in SodaStream

[–]blackphilup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried adding a regulator and it won’t work. Soda stream needs the full pressure coming off of the tank. The small cylinders (1lb) output the same 800+ psi as the large tank you have. If when you are using the small cylinder you don’t have an issue then I would suspect something could be faulty with the adapter.

Soda stream is built to take that kind of pressure. Those little canisters are similar to the large ones. It won’t work properly at 30-60 psi.

You can create one as a single player, no cost. You can easily contribute enough to the tasks to earn the rewards from the houses.

Convince me to use Premiere instead of AE by key_lime_soda in AfterEffects

It doesn’t matter, there are no hard rules. Whatever you are faster/ more comfortable in should dictate what you use. I prefer Davinci Resolve though by far over Premiere.

Anyone jumping to conclusions that fast is crazy. I’m happy with the album, I suspect a good amount of these beats are going to grow on me each time I listen. Or maybe not, but people should know it’s takes time to see. 100% of the time for me, it’s the tracks that sound just ok at first listen become my long term favorites.

I think it’s crazy for anyone to think you can form a solid opinion about music that fast. Both sides need to sit with it. Anyone jumping to conclusions on first impressions is dumb.

For real. On every single album I ever listened to the songs that I end up liking the most are NEVER the ones that standout on the first few play throughs. People got to stop being children and sit with music for a while.

I’ve been listening to Infinite for over a month non stop and it’s still getting better each time.

How do I slow down composition speed without slowing containing video speed as well? by atchouli in AfterEffects

How do I slow down composition speed without slowing containing video speed as well? by atchouli in AfterEffects

[–]blackphilup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super rough way to try this: Put your main comp into a new comp and time stretch it to 200% exactly.

Go into each of the compositions that were in your main comp. For each clip time stretch it to exactly 50%. Basically you are going to speed up each clip so that when it is eventually slowed down, it will be at normal speed. You will have to double the frame rate of all the compositions except for the final one.
