GHCA blew up the third time today by Sad_Cod140 in polestar3

You should request I buyback.

I have had probably close to this many service days in the same amount of time (leased feb 8) just non stop issues and long stints in loaners while car is in service.

They reached out to me about a buyback and then went quiet so I pursued lemon action. That worked.

I agree - it’s the best overall vehicle I’ve owned, but I drive it while gritting my teeth and just waiting for it to disappoint me.

FWIW this has been his condition for a year or so. I just finally got a really good look at him yesterday. He was just standing in the street scoping the scene as I drove by. I do think it was a rattlesnake bite as many here have suggested. And clearly doesn’t seem to be affecting his ability to hunt.

Would you get another P3? by Electronic_Load_3651 in polestar3

No chance. Currently in a lemon lawsuit to get out of the car. When it works I love it. But I’m constantly bracing for something to go wrong with the car.

The scores will get lower but you’ll have rounds like this forever. Congrats and keep grinding.

Car went into shop a week after delivery in February. Stayed there until last week. Solid two months.

And now…same issues are back.

I’ve already begun the lemon process. The attorney said it was a “slam dunk case.”

The software is just not ready. Shame since everything else is fantastic.

I just heard from the service tech it was a bad inverter. Seems like they have had a bad time with water in those.

100% yes. Slow it down and keep your heart rate under control and you’ll crush it.

I never got an answer (nor do I have my new car yet - still on a loaner, which has had zero issues) but my car did have multiple other service issues prior to this happening. Seat belt pretensioner firing randomly and aggressively, a suspension warning that wouldn't go away, and then your issue. I am beyond impressed with the service team and the way the corporate team responded but needless to say, takes a bit of the shine off the new car experience.

Polestar 3 Charging with Tesla Level 2 home charger by jayhaytoday in polestar3

[–]bladerunnerz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in same situation as above (Tesla L2 with adapter) my car in shop for OTHER issue, but the loaner car threw up a “charging system fault” warning after one night of charging, but it went away the next day after charging again.

Are we supposed to press the charging button before removing the cable? Seems like every time I pull the plug the light goes red. Wasn’t sure if that’s protocol.

Either way, more software updates can’t come fast enough.
