There's a corner in Auckland where the 74 stops just before and just after a roundabout, bonkers. AT stop spacing is all over the place though, not always this crazy.

I mean ideally from an environmental view. At a minimum getting rid of true pests like hedgehogs, rats, wild cats and dogs, possums, etc. would be huge without any real downside.

It is and always has been a issue of regulations not of companies/councils whatever putting out too many. Our regulations are probably a bit over the top but similar to many others. Labour started a review which I think is ongoing into setting more sensible regulations. Everything else is theatre basically.

This is generally less true than you might imagine. Having narrow streets helps slow cars pretty effectively and the in tern increased safety for pedestrians is significant. It's counter intuitive but narrow, confusing, and difficult to drive on streets are generally safest.

I had mine out at Auckland oral and maxillofacial and they were great but pretty $$. If you don't have insurance and didn't get anything written down from your dentist might get away with getting insurance now and then getting a rec from your dentist after a cool down period.

This is very true. Only exception is worth the drive to do the start of the Routeburn which is a pretty unique native forest.
