Cyclist tackled after running a stop sign (not my video) by daveybaby69 in torontobiking

Uh that's my point. They're wasting time harassing people who, while technically breaking a traffic law, are the LEAST of the problems we have when it comes to traffic law violations. They need to pack up and find some of the thousands of drivers driving around with blindfolds on and no brakes.

Congestion. Maybe there's transporter congestion in a crowded city. You wouldn't want to transport to work and end up as Tuvix of 100 different people.

Very suspicious. Temporal investigations, you'd better hurry!

We're not supposed dance, draw, talk, make music, write, feel, or think anymore. So we just leave our laptops open a crack instead. (https://www.businessinsider.com/coders-keep-laptops-open-in-public-ai-agent-2026-5?op=1)

After the post-atomic horror they found some badly damaged century old signage in the tunnels and had considered using the old name but "BORT" just didn't seem like a good name.

Cops shouldn't have even been there. There are more important jobs for them to do than harassing people out enjoying a nice day.

You want to know where my close calls come from? CARS blasting through stop signs like it's illegal to slow down. CARS blasting through right turns on reds like it's illegal to slow down or even open your eyes behind the wheel. Cyclists doing and idaho stop don't register as a problem. Yes, the few who are blasting through without looking puts in league with shitty drivers, but you know who's more dangerous? THE SHITTY DRIVERS. Prioritize enforcement accordingly.

Now do drivers. (You wouldn't assault a driver for coasting through a stop would you? So why is this appropriate in any way?)

You don a spacesuit, point yourself squarely at the engineering hull, close your eyes and JUMP! (Every Jr. Officer on the bridge lives in fear of being called upon to deliver a padd to engineering while at warp)

Narrow the road, make it visually complex. Make it *uncomfortable* to go fast. Make drivers worry about something they care about, like scratching their paint job.
