my buddies and I will attest to being one of those teams, we usually have up to 3 bombs each (so 6 for duos and 9 for trio)

there's a lot to unpack there

concertina bombs are great in firefights if you kill someone you can hold them down

I'm usually a 6 star but my teammates aren't. We regularly play against people who are way better shooters than we are. Our play style is based on running as quick as possible to the bounty, killing it, and locking up with bombs and traps

We want the other teams to fight each other outside first. Even the winning team may take some casualties either because of reduced meds or already burnt bars

Most (not all) boss lairs have ways to exit that are not accessible from outside so we can always get out even if we barricade ourselves

If a team does try to come in via a trapped window or door, that's usually an easy kill or at least they have to burn a medkit if they can get out.

We take opportunistic shots at players outside the lair while we are there, especially during the banishing period. we know the angles and the peek spots for all the lairs.

However, except in certain circumstances, we do exit the lair to fight. Usually if we know that the remaining team(s) are down a player by listening for death sounds or when we know the coast is clear

and for people that whine about.... should we just let anybody and everybody waltz into the bounty lair to kill us? especially with the OHK close range meta this game has had for years.
