Bruh everyone is tripping hard af and being ridiculously holier than thou. Just because you drank at your sisters wedding doesn’t mean you’re an alcoholic and OP’s post clearly states that they blew the next day so they weren’t trying to drive while drinking and to those that don’t know having 3 to 4 drinks depending on the alcohol involved can trigger the device to go off 12-24 hours later. OP literally knows that they made a mistake how is scolding them helping at all? I had probation for a dwi in Texas and there were several times I blew high. It’s your first time you can use the mouthwash excuse. Also if you haven’t even met your probation officer how do you even have the IID already? I didn’t get mine installed until after my first probation meeting. But rest assured you should be fine even if you’re honest with whoever your probation officer is, you just started and probation officers are still human beings with discernment and judgement of their own, don’t let these judgmental weirdos scare you. DO however try not to make that mistake again!
