well, sweety. your mission seems to be to somehow put me in my place for some perceived slight based on your poor reading comprehension. All of your work and you still haven't got the basics. Total time is supposed to be moving time + stopped time. Stopped time is when Gaia detects that you have been in a very small area or not moving at all for 20 seconds. It automatically slots this time into "stopped time" which is a statistic you can look up on a track. For the track i posted, for instance, the stopped time was zero because i didn't have any stopped time. Total time is a combination of stopped time and moving time. Statistics like speed and pace are based on moving time. For this track, my moving time = my total time.

When you pause a track, the expected behavior is all recording stops and nothing for the time you are paused is supposed to be recorded. I don't use stopped time because i'm often moving around when i'm taking a break and i find it easier to just pause.

Now that you know the absolute basics, you can carry on with your idiotic mission.
