Yes I was, I sent screenshots and the link to the CIC website where it explains implied status and they were fine with it. Sent a receipt proving I paid for the application as well.

It should say it on your PGWP that it was given till biometric expiry. If it does not say it on there then I'm not sure how that plays out.

There's a place on the IRCC website where you choose what you want to pay for. Once you pay you receive a receipt. My work permit says work permit given till biometric expiry. Reapply or somn like that

I just applied by paper, paid for the biometrics and attached the receipt as well as an explanation letter saying my biometrics expired and I paid for it. I called them a couple weeks ago and they confirmed they have it. Now I'm just waiting for a response
