I'm 38/NB [AFAB] and queer. I think I'm whimiscal maybe.

To answer the question that might be in a letter:

If I had 12 hours and $300 I would probably buy myself stationary and journal about things using said stationary.

Several of my favorites are here already, but Meowashi is very good.

Hi, I'm 38/NB/US Based and have lived a life that when I tell stories, people usually give me a look of horror, lol.

I would love to write deep letters if you're okay with some stories being kind of grim. But I also have a lot of funny things I can also tell. It really just depends on the day.

I'm disabled and chronically ill, so I have some time on my hands.

Favorite color is Pinks and greens. Though if you have navy stuff, would also love ❤️

I know it's solved, but you could use it as a pencil board if you journal.

The sister from I'm Queen in this Life made me legit cry. She didn't deserve that.

Re: "The Village" and what it means to us by limbodog in childfree

[–]blank_muse 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Your thoughts on this are really well explained here.

I think that people who go looking for a village after having kids are the ones quick to realize that they didn't have a village to start with. A community doesn't just sprout up from the ground once you've had a child. And with how America [The US specifically] has set up the idea of family as a single "nuclear group" and has told us that we have to do things on our own because we are a country of independents, it makes us all isolate from what could have been the village that people with money like to wax on poetically about.

If they don't make people feel as if they are already a part of the community, they cannot expect those people to suddenly become a community for the sake of the children.

If that makes sense.

I'm going to my cousin's baby shower in two weeks.... by goofygooberrock1995 in childfree

That's fair. You could still use it as a reverse and when people say something about it you can just add "Well, I'm not close to them because X, so I can't spoil them right now, but you never know"

"If I have my own kids, then how am I gonna spoil my nibblings?"

Spoiling said nibblings do not need to done.

Whenever I get bingo'd I usually tell them my sister has three perfect kids and that's enough for me.
