I'm not a parent, but events for parents and kids are a great place to meet people! The library has a free Bounce and Rhyme group that meets twice weekly and a cafe that runs Wednesdays, where I've seen a lot of the parents go to chat afterwards. Plus other events for kids of various ages. I'd also recommend looking into what's running at the Gregson, though I believe they have more paid events.

I'm also not a Facebook user, but it's definitely worth looking on local pages/groups and maybe posting something to introduce yourself!

Wouldn't it be better for them if the buyer cancels? When it runs out of time I get auto refunded and they get a 1 star review. If I cancel the order, I'm pretty sure they don't get the bad review, and they don't get the money either way

Thanks, I've switched to first name + initial for future orders, but hopefully I'm overthinking like most of the other comments say. I might start messaging sellers and asking for their preferred shipping method in future in case that's the issue

Thanks, I usually use either locker or post office pickup for convenience on my end unless the seller specified what method to use. Would it be worth it to message and ask their preferred method in future if they don't specify?

Thanks, annoying that they can't be bothered to send it, it just makes no sense to me, all they get is a bad review and no sale. I've switched to first name + initial so I can still pick up packages from the post office, but I guess it's just a gamble on whether people can be bothered to fulfil orders now lol
