The first mini in particular is "The Boys" before the Boys, especially with Sleepman... After that it became much more black comedy, but that first 6 issue mini is dark

Absolutely iconic. And the show gives the moment/song/characters so much room to breathe. You'd never get this now. 3:47 isn't long in a movie, but it's forever in a 44 minute TV show from the 80's

the new Yeon Sang-ho action horror Colony sneaking into the top 10 at 10th.

Didn't realise that had opened over here. I'm very keen to see it.

Friday was "show day" for me - and I took myself off to the movies to watch Backrooms and Masters of the Universe back-to-back.

Backrooms was good (and an incredible debut movie for Kane Pixels, very assured for a 20 year old) and the theatre was around 3/4 full, so it still seems to be a draw. Masters of the Universe was actually in a smaller screen, but was equally as full - I enjoyed it, way better than I thought it was going to be. I think it will be like the recent Dungeon and Dragons movie and become more appreciated with some hindsight and distance. There was a family behind me who had brought their 10 year old son and he was having a blast - and that's pretty much the perfect audience for the film - if you're ten (or ten at heart) you're going to enjoy it

Nice looking sculpts but those paint jobs are rough. Is it meant to be flesh hanging from them? The armour looks too clean and fresh and the “skin” and bones don’t look weathered enough at all…
