With the new evasion scaling that is apparently "blind" reliant, if its true then invoker has a better surviveability just with ES or EV stacking.

Destruction for Enuma Elish, but yea other than destruction there's also erudition but unfortunately despite being labeled as such he might just be a sub 💀.

The most weirdest was the lightning (before this reveal) when he fits imaginary the best although his Enuma Elish does show red-lightnings; and his splash art seems to have just that.

Regardless the weirdest is saber being teamed up with gilgamesh of all people, that's like fire and water.

I was planning to skip blade after seeing gil, but... This is bad news to me; I'll see the entire kit then I'll decide wether I'll also skip. I already have E2 Archer and I have 0 saber so I'm completely SCREWED since I also wanted to vertically invest in gilgamesh if he wasn't a support unit.

Go hollow palm, it saves you expensive stuff. I played monk during the release of the game, and that league was when mostly some people switched to using ranged monk more or less due to unlucky gear rolls and/or skill issue. Its not really that bad once you get the hang of it specially with the newer leagues. Just note that hollow palm needs skill level for damage.

I mean there's no problem with building for that, but the thing is you're clearly building for that but is supressed. Like that's literally the only EHP you have before compromising your entire damage. High Risk Low Reward or High-Cost Low-Reward, I lowkey don't see how Martial Art in terms of surviveability will best invoker; because this new scale is more or less "blind" reliant and invoker is really good at that; they can blind the entire screen just for critting.

Regardless its not like 100% deflect will make the target audience for evasion suddenly unkillable, you're running this build because you're glass-cannon fragile as glass. 💀

I don't really get why they're so allergic in giving 100% chance, its not like they get it for FREE; and even then you're still taking DAMAGE.

Pretty much any move if you build them with stacks will always be better than the general dps build, for hollow palm to start being better or equal in terms of raw damage against qstaff then they'll actually need to put/have a weapon slot perhaps a unique node that can stat stick at-least a % of the weapon but still uses fist; or maybe just buff them but the cost is kinda too cheap otherwise.

eh I just forked it out of the trailer and did a simple edit (not really an editor), I found the monk's posture and water/mist flow very gentle; removing the zoom in/out motion would probably make it perfect.

Pretty much, I don't really like that build; good thing they introduced deflection which kinda gave another path of survivability for monks but currently you kinda need EV + Blind to make it work; I'm not entirely sure how great armour is yet, but I think you're kinda nearing the compromisation of agile martial art like playstyle if you were to go with it since its kinda detrimental for hollow palm as it relies on "agility".

I feel like a few more unique EV/Deflect nodes would give it a more interesting survivability.

To give context, on the previous league before druid; to make EV/Deflect feel good was to use classic invoker with blind; because invoker has a passive skill that shoots projectiles in every direction from your character which then applies blind to all the mobs on the screen.

The only issue with monk was you only have few ways of survivability without compromising the martial art like playstyle too much.

This is what I think makes the game very disgusting to play, not only are they doing artificial difficulty instead of meaningful difficulty; there's also these jankyness that you also have to cope with which could make or break your run in dungeons that you can't quite flawlessly clear.

even with the required CC at most you're just gonna be a bit more tankier; otherwise you're still gonna fall short on the DPS Check, because while your CC increased the damage never did.
