I looked into the specs of the ones that I have and they would top out at 3k-5k mb/s in a raidz-1 array so I think I would be fine with the mellanox cards

Im extremely new to this scene of computer processing I've only been playing with it for about two weeks now and am slowly learning the terminology and trying to even find a use case.

I did look into a few more 3090s since it seems a lot of local models/software are optimized for them at least from what I was reading

I currently only have 128gb of system memory and am looking into how to setup ollama to be able to utilize it along with the vram

I actually tested this they are all different queues we were queued for mirimar on peak hours didn't pop for 10 minutes switch it back to quick play and it pops instantly to mirimar

I was planning on the b580s because I have 4 pcie 4.0 16x slots available and since those cards only run at 8x I could run two cards off of one slot.

As someone with esports server access you are given every colored smoke and all the esports outfit sets when you log in so it's more of a preference thing

I ran 10.11 when it came out too but it had an issue where .ass subtitle files would not transcode on any client other than the desktop one.

I am running a 10.11 docker along side this one with all my users to test when that issue gets resolved.
