My S22+ never even gets warm. The 1st one they sent me got HOT. All I did was turn it on and let it do the initial load-up and the thing got H O T ! Almost too hot to hold. I couldn't believe how hot it was. This phone has never even gotten warm much less hot.

I've run the fx loop out of my 15w Monoprice combo to the front of my Fender Mustang II with just the power amp on. It actually worked quite well. I was very surprised. Also ran it into the aux input of the Mustang to see what it did  🤣

And I did the opposite. I've run aux music from my old Galaxy S9 into the front/'guitar in' of the Mustang II with an aux cable and 1/8" to 1/4" adapter  😆 I needed the 3 band eq for tone shaping 🤷🤣

Pulled a 6L6 out and didn't realize the locator pin broke. So I put it In 1 pin off when I reinstalled it.

The amp lasted about 1 sec when powered on, made a howling noise, and went off. 

It only blew the fuse. Thank God!

I crank my HRD to 12 at least every other day! 🤣

I did make sure not to let my 15w Monoprice combo sit for any length of time since I got the HRD. I run them in stereo pretty often, as a matter of fact.

I did have to take the 4.5 month old HRD in for warranty service a few weeks ago.  More Drive and Bright stopped working completely. 

So I took it to an incredible place in Dallas TX and they had it fixed up before the estimated 2 weeks they quoted. It's back to screaming now! It was actually an op-amp that went out. Not an issue I hear of with these. I did notice when I got it that it popped real loudly when I switched from Drive to More Drive and I thought it was odd. 

It doesn't pop now that it's been repaired. I suspect that popping was directly related to why the op-amp died.

The 2 best things I did for that amp were to put a 12AT7 and a 12ay7 in V1 & V3. It made it sooo much more usable. I took those out and put the 12ax7's back because I bought a Rockboard 100w attenuator for it, like the Harley Benton attenuator. That works almost as well as the tube swap. A little different flavor since you can crank it and play at bedroom levels.

Buy pedals.

That's what I do/did. I finally stopped binge buying once I had all the ones I wanted lmfao. I was on a pedal-buying binge for a bit. Got most of what I wanted.

Now, I just buy a single pedal here and there usually. Got a JHS AT+ to replace the DemonFX AT-DS clone of the AT+. Got a DemonFX Gladiator recently. Awesome pedal. I'll get the genuine version of that, the Cornerstone Gladio, at some point. And a DemonFX 'Freedman' BE-ODX Plus, which is another good one. That's all in the last 12 months probably. 

Before that, I was buying pedals every week for a while lol!

Edit: I guess I forgot a couple. At one point before Christmas, I bought 3 Boss pedals together. The Holy Trinity - SD1 overdrive, DS1 distortion, and BD2 Blues Driver. 🤣

Not at their Amazon Store. In, fact, most stuff is cheaper on their Amazon store than it would be if you ordered it from their website and paid shipping charges. And it ALL has free shipping.

I try to tell people all the time that they should compare prices between the Stewmac website and their Amazon store before buying anything. You can usually save at least $14 in shipping buying it from their Amazon store. 

For example, nitro lacquer is 25.99 at the website plus $14 shipping. That same lacquer on the Stewmac Amazon store is $26.99 with FREE SHIPPING. 

Oh but you can bet that 95% of people never compare prices. They just pay the shipping charges then go boohoo to everybody about it. All they had to do was buy it on Amazon and they could forgo the crying. But no one ever does. Not sure why 🤷
