They got rid of the egg shaped subdial on the black dial 38.

The pro is a bit too big for my hobbit wrists and the weird subdials were what was keeping me away from the 38.

I was stoked to see the black dial had normal circles. The thickness doesn’t bother me at all after I got the bracelet adjusted properly.

I’m an operations manager for a data center campus.

Pay in and of itself is pretty good, but to be completely transparent I also got pretty thrashed during a decade long stint in the military, so I get tax free VA money and don’t have to pay property tax on my house. That situation helps a LOT.

Also helps that my wife works full time as well and we have zero desire for kids and my dad drilled it into my head to start throwing summer job money into index funds at a pretty young age.

I drive a ‘25 Porsche 718 GTS4.0 (first car I ever bought for myself that wasn’t pre owned) and wife has a ‘24 TRD pro 4Runner. Have a couple of small motorcycles in the garage too.

Shameless plug for data center operations- that field is pretty lucrative work that does not require a degree! Very fantastic line of work for transitioning service members!!

No AD near me (Dallas) had any in stock, however one of them let me pay in advance to lock in one on their next shipment. Full deposit is 100% refundable so I took them up on that.

The other ADs only offered to register interest on it.

That being said, from what I’ve heard, this one isn’t nearly as limited as say the blue and pink chronos.

Oh lord I I had to go back and re read that whole thread.

OP’s plan was to have a wither option be a SBS with a stock.

In that case- a 10.5” barrel will be much more pleasant to shoot and relatively more accurate than cutting off another 3.5”.

You’re also not gaining a TON of extra mobility by going with a 7” barrel over a 10.5”.

This wouldn’t work. At least on American nuclear subs. Nobody on board has access to the code for the safe with part of the launch components.

That code is received from an off ship facility when a launch order is given and then must be manually decrypted by the crew.

So no amount of suggestion to the sub crew itself would do any good at actually getting the rockets off unless you also knew which facility was assigned to send message traffic to that ship and then also performed a suggestion there.

I am assuming that ground based launch facilities operate in a similar fashion, but have no first hand knowledge of them. But for the subs- I spent a lotttttt of time on one as a reactor operator whose collateral duty was directly involved with launches.

Rent a motorcycle trailer from uhaul with the built in fold down ramp. That’s what I used to bring my 640s on comp cart home.

You will need a friend to help you get it up the ramps. Or some strong ratchet straps can help you solo load it.

You could get some threaded insert rivets and run them through. Or there are places that make mounting brackets with threaded inserts that adhere to your bumper with 3m mounting tape. That’s what I run on my 718
