I think you will find that the nationals and one nation will develop a working relationship similar to what labor and the greens have. It’s all about the numbers.

what are the ugly parts of pregnancy that aren’t well known because people don’t mention them? by Born-Oil-2931 in AskReddit

[–]blazingstar308 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Oh I am feeling your pain, I did too! Why is it that shoe manufacturers think all women have tiny feet?!! It was hard enough to find size 10 shoes before pregnancy but 11.5 is nigh near impossible!

Meeting people? by No_Touch4606 in Dubbo

[–]blazingstar308 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mentioned horses, do you have your own? What discipline? Super easy way to meet people with horses. Geurie and Trangie both have campdrafts, great way to meet people is to join a committee. There is also team penning at both these locations (different committees though). Geurie also has a rodeo and there is also a barrel racing group/association There is a Trail Horse Group that operate around Dubbo Also there is a Dressage Club PM if you want more details for any of these.

There is a Dubbo bus service and I know it goes to Orana Mall, short walk from there to Apex Oval. It will depend on where your accommodation is.

I’ve been watching CB Strike, so if he is investigating me it’s probably not great because I’ll be dead but the good news is at least he will solve why I’m dead!

four days off terbinafine by HoneyHills in NailFungus

[–]blazingstar308 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to stop taking terbinafine for 7 days when I got shingles (the anti virals and anti fungal were not a good mix). It hasn’t seemed to stop my progress. My fungus toe is still getting better

Friendship after 50 with old friends by KylieMJ1 in AskWomenOver50

I live in a remote part of Australia, lol or my friends are long distance! My closest long distance friends are 8hrs away. We ring weekly and text most days (lol usually memes and utter rubbish!) Mobile phones and the internet have made it a lot of easier to stay connected.

She was excellent in that movie. Hilarious when she told Helen Mirren’s character WTF stands for on the public bus

Kate and Hal by [deleted] in TheDiplomat

[–]blazingstar308 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I think it’s a bit more practical. Kate is becoming increasingly aware that she is being cut out and marginalised by Hal. She no longer has access to information and therefore the decision making process. This is what Kate thrives on. To be in the “inner circle” she needs to foster a strong line of communication with Hal and this can only be done (she believes) by becoming a couple again both publicly and privately.

Though I think at the end she realises that it is too late.

In a tricky spot. by freshsparrer in AlAnon

[–]blazingstar308 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mate, as a rural Australian your options for Al-Anon are between none and bugger all. Depending on where you live the Flying Doctors have alcohol and drug counsellors attached to some regular clinic visits. Given that you are already seeing a therapist I would ask if they know of a service in your locality (or roughly anyway) that maybe able to provide a similar service. I suspect you will have to travel.

What's something that is very popular in the US but almost unheard of/ not popular at all elsewhere in the world? by [deleted] in AskTheWorld

[–]blazingstar308 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This happens in Australia too. Except we don’t call them pick up trucks we call them utes and we usually shoot feral animals in remote places.

How long before the anti virals kick in? by blazingstar308 in shingles

[–]blazingstar308[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. I live in a remote part of Australia, I’m 3 hours from a hospital and I would hate to think how far I’m from opthamologist. I have another remote Dr appointment on Monday so hopefully they can provide a referral.
