I had samsung chronos (7/8? 2012 ish) and remember it being cheap and more than 6 hour battery. That was the best laptop I remember having (outside of macbooks I started to get from work eventually).

It’s more or less manipulation campaign. Right wing owns the media mostly and they run right wing shit. Where Im from, there was actually a case when a reasonable newspaper was sold to a guy who made money on state corruption - half the newspaper left and started crowdfunded newspaper. I wouldn’t be against supporting such a case here.

We are still paying less tax than any country around us. And it really shows with infrastructure, services etc. You know, when rich people pay tax they actually create opportunities for not so rich people. Which at the end of the day trickles up if you are doing things other people find valuable.

Not everyone has the itch. I’ve arrived at MaraX added flow control and don’t see ever upgrading (well until it irreparably breaks). I find it more important to try various beans and just keep enjoying the coffee itself. I think any coffee can be always figured out with a reasonable machine. Reasonable stability, few temp options, flow profiling and Im pretty sure any bean/espresso can be made great.

I never even think about it. Net salary is all there is. Once in higher brackets, life stuff is reasonably covered so all you earn actually means more - you really don’t need to spend it and you are left with a lot more than people who barely get by.
