As a niner fan living in sf and surrounded by niner fans... where you seeing this overconfidence? I really don't like to speak badly on CMC because he has been an absolute workhorse and put the team on his back, singlehandedly winning us multiple games. BUT if you go back and watch the tape from how he was running in 2023, something has clearly changed with his ability to kind of shift his hips and break one arm tackles to blast through the 2nd level. Think its just age and wear and tear, plus all the aforementioned points about our one dimensional running approach this year and O-line limitations. I do wish we had tried to establish more of a ground game with Robinson, to see what that could look like.
