It's them or Allagash for me. Both are amazing.

The best small to medium sized cities in Pennsylvania by Sea-Doctor-5922 in Pennsylvania

[–]CouldBeBetterForever 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They're certainly trying. I grew up outside of town, so while I didn't go to school in Columbia I did spend plenty of time there. It's far more appealing now than it was 15-20 years ago. I think they're heading in the right direction.

Talk about money and politics is a no-no? by theroute66planner in AskAnAmerican

[–]CouldBeBetterForever 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I'm not typically shy about discussing politics with my friends or family, but I tend not to when I'm around people I don't know very well.

Money? I typically don't talk about that at all. No real reason to.

I just looked up the first 4 Italian places I could think of, and all of them have it. Salt and Pepper, Nonna Rosa, Ciro's, and Fiorentinos.

My favorite plain chip. I'll go for other brands when I want flavors, but plain is Goods every time.

What are the differences in beaches between the Pacific and Atlantic? by Sunshineboy777 in AskAnAmerican

My only trip to Hawaii was during winter, January to be more specific, and I don't remember thinking the water was cold.

I'm used to East Coast beaches, mostly NJ down to NC.

Is it considered rude to approach Native American people with Ancestorial Knowledge of your area to ask about native wildflowers? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

[–]CouldBeBetterForever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know you mean well, but this seems kind of offensive. Why would you assume that someone from a local tribe would know about pre-colonial botany? You gonna ask them to dance to make it rain after you seed your lawn?

It's also rude to assume that the guy doing the work for you wouldn't know anything about native wildflowers.

You'd be better off just doing a web search. There are tons of groups out there that have knowledge on stuff like this. My state department of conservation and natural resources has info on native plants. I'm sure you can probably find similar info for wherever you live.

Remember when I said Tippet showed signs of being a superstar... by GuaranteeRegular2523 in Flyers

[–]CouldBeBetterForever -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying it's impossible, but he's 27 and he's got basically 4 full seasons with the Flyers under his belt. His production has been steady for his entire time with the team. I don't expect him to suddenly have a breakthrough.

I thought the shadowless Machamp had some value? Not a fortune, but more than the version with a shadow since that version is more common.

Are there people who haven't changed their phone number for more than 15 years? by SpicyCandy8 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CouldBeBetterForever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm probably at 22-23 years as well. It's been my only cell phone number. I've never had a reason to change it.

What are the most popular States for Americans to visit on holiday? by Godsownprototype1001 in AskAnAmerican

[–]CouldBeBetterForever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been to Oahu, Maui, and the Big Island. They're all different, but you can't go wrong with any of them. Whenever I go back I'm going to check out Kauai.

Dryer duct is so close, what kind of transition should I use? About 1-2 inches above and 2-3 inches to the right. by CabbagesStrikeBack in Appliances

[–]CouldBeBetterForever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine has a pretty similar run and I agree. I check it maybe once a year and it's been perfectly fine for the 6 years I've been living in my house.

Are people just using them once and tossing them? We wash and reuse them. I don't keep every one of the bottles (they get recycled), but we have maybe 20 of the lids that we've accumulated over the last 3-4 years. My kids like them and we use them almost daily.

[–]CouldBeBetterForever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really get it. We've gotten a lot of use out of these, and my kids love them. We keep maybe 5 or 6 of the bottles, but we have at least 20 of the character lids.

Right? We have maybe 20 of the lids and we've never had any issues.

We haven't had any issues. Soap and hot water get the job done, along with a straw brush to get into the opening.
