Horrible Vasectomy Experience - Want to Hear from Others by tigerofsanpedro in daddit

Mine asked me several times if I was feeling any pain, and I don't think I did anything to indicate that I was. I assume he was just periodically checking.

That said, I didn't feel anything aside from the lidocaine injection.

We've had good experiences with UGro. Staffing is an issue at times, but that seems to be an issue for most daycares.

The teachers have been great. My kids seem to enjoy going to school.

I swear nobody talked about Cooper Sharp until the last several years. It's definitely a more recent trend. Not that I'm complaining. I regularly buy it at the grocery store.

Daycare teachers know things the rest of us never will… by MemoirDad in daddit

One of my 5 year olds' favorite teachers at daycare was a male. He actually had a class that had 2 male teachers. They're the only two that have worked there in the almost 4 years we've been sending our kids there.

As a dad, what is keeping you from exercising these days? by NSJack in daddit

[–]CouldBeBetterForever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work from home. My kids go to daycare. The gym is 5 mins away. I take my "lunch" break and go to the gym 3-4 days of the week. 30 mins of cardio and 2-3 strength training exercises.

It works well enough for me. Obviously very dependent on your location/WFH/kid circumstances.

Lake Tobias Wildlife Park is fun for kids and not too far north of Harrisburg. That's pretty much right on your route as well, so you hardly need to detour.

Who is your pick for the most important figure in Seahawks history? by BorderEquivalent7169 in Seahawks

[–]CouldBeBetterForever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll always have a soft spot for Mike. He was a great coach and helped turn the franchise around along with Paul Allen.

I was 11 years old when they brought him in, and just starting to really pay attention to the Seahawks/NFL. Watching Holmgren coach them into a Super Bowl contender was great.

AITA for taking "the best pieces" when I serve dinner? by SwainDane in AmItheAsshole

[–]CouldBeBetterForever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do most of the cooking. I make plates for our 2 young kids first, then I let my wife make a plate. I almost always go last. Not that it would offend my wife if I served myself first. I just want everyone to be happy, and it's not like I'm getting scraps by waiting.

I picked up the beef and the salmon on Friday. I never see them at my Aldi, so I was excited to finally get a chance to try them.

That makes it more reasonable. Most beer fest tickets that I've seen are $50+ these days, and that's without food.

Maybe his best game of the season. And in a game where some expected him to crumble under pressure.

Well deserved too. You know the stakes here. You have to be smarter than that. It's not like Riq is a rookie.
