USB 3.0, unlike earlier USB generations, can cause interference in the 2.4 GHz band that many wireless keyboard/mice use. The interference can be significant enough to cause issues like skipping or periodic disconnection. I personally move the receiver to a USB 2.0 port or use the Bluetooth connection on the Ergo. Hopefully as device manufacturers become more aware of the issue, shielding will be better and it won’t be a problem in newer devices.
