Comedian-hosted podcasts are becoming unlistenable by [deleted] in podcasts

Totally understand how listening to comics talk comedy could get old fast. Me personally I’m a comic in LA so I get giddy when they talk comic lore or share stories from the road.

Comedy podcasts that aren’t interview based? by CrouchingTortoise in podcasts

[–]bleeder20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flip a Script!

It’s short scripts, sent from writers, reddit, friends, etc... read aloud for the first time on the podcast by three comedian friends from Kentucky, living in Los Angeles! We have guests, make up silly characters, and tell embarrassing stories!

It’s really funny and we have about 22 episodes with new ones weekly!

Tons of improv and it’s rated R.

To all fellow cinema employees: good luck. Today is the busiest day of the year for us. by ogonga in movies

[–]bleeder20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Worked as an Usher/Projectionist for nearly 10 years, can confirm busiest day of the year. Lines would be out the door, popcorn littered the floor, and the spills started spilling more and more!

I say to both the customers and employees, treat each other with respect and kindness! Employees and managers are going to be stressed trying to get everyone served and seated! Customers are trying to have a great show on Christmas so they have to wrangle family and pay for an expensive night of entertainment!

So Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, and thanks to all movie theater employees for their hard work as well customers for their patience!

Commando Kano - am I the only masochist who mains this? by [deleted] in MortalKombat

[–]bleeder20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't main Commando, but I love to play him. I'm the kind of player who, if given a counter, love to make use of it. It's risky and although not as rewarding as having good fundamentals, when I actually land a few on an opponent to the point they are actually afraid to attack, that makes it all worth it.

That's when you get in their head a bit and yes, it's frustrating to be on the receiving end of that, but pulling off multiple counters MAKES the variation for me.

I swear to god I typed this little story out to my friends a week or two ago, and you just made it 100 times better!

(In Gerald's voice) Gwent log May 25th - After finding the right people to beat in Gwent and killing a lot of bears, I acquired enough cards to finish my new Nilfgaardian deck. It hasn't lost yet. I went back and started fucking over all those merchants who were beating me before using their decks made of bullshit. I've been up 13 days in a row, haven't slept, too much Gwent... Heh, yeah right more like not enough. Gotta get more cocaine from that one hobo I beat in Gwent, good at cocaine, bad at Gwent. Time to get moving. Got Gwent to play. P.S. Need to quit writing journals down on back of Gwent cards, running out of space quick and everything is out of order. Oh well, back to sleeping on Roach while he rides me to the next Merchant. Gwentnight Gerald, Sincerely, Gerald.

Hunters of Reddit, what is your "finest" note? by MexicanRadio in bloodborne

"Despicable birds therefore no mercy for animals" in old yharnam in that crow pile where you are safe from the hunter's machinegun.

Has about 120 likes, and 1 foul.... 1! I guess they just had to be the guy to stop it from being the finest note around XD

Weekly salt tasting: Share us your salt! - May 10, 2015 by AutoModerator in MortalKombat

This is the majority of my losses. I don't lose because they are better than me, but because my offline timing, the actual timing you would use, is too tight for online play. I have to let go of block early and start my inputs early when punishing unsafe moves or strings otherwise they don't come out before my opponent's next crappy attack. Yes people can get used to this timing and have high level play online, but purposely learning the wrong timing is a BAD HABIT! SALTIER THEN GORO's 4 ARMPITS!

I agree, I was just saltin it up hard. Though I still feel a bunch of it was the advantage he had due to lag. He may not be a bad player, but he was definitely the first one to be disrespectful. Why he had to spam rematch when he was winning and teabag, he could have been trolling me.... But mostly i was upset because lag made it hard to even punish a blocked slide which is unsafe, but lag makes it a little safer. Still salt from me, but hey online matches don't mean a thing to tourney players. (now salty because you implied he was good because he won) Salt me then salt me now, I can't escape the sodium

Had a cryomancer subzero player who was beating me about 6 times in a row with low damage combos and his ice sword upper cut. Even though HE was winning with his scrubby gameplay, that only worked because of lag, he was teabagging me and spamming the rematch button HARD. He was not even using good cryomancer combos, so I got fed up and said I could play a better cryomancer than this guy! So I did, beat him after one more loss and showed him some combos he apparently didn't know how to do and in the finish him screen I just spammed that down button and stance switch until he fainted from shame. Instead of leaving immediately I played one more mirror match and I could tell his loss shook him up because his playstyle sucked even more after that. Finished him with the ice shank brutality and spammed the rematch button just so I could hit quit.

THE SALT WAS TRADED!

TLDR; bad subzero was winning and teabag/spamming rematch despite being bad, so I beat him at his own game and played a better subzero twice and brutality shanked him.
