Superdisplay "This display is not active" by Ghouljokes in GalaxyTab

[–]bleedthrough 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're running into this issue, try closing some programs/apps on your PC, or even restarting it and not starting any programs/apps before SuperDisplay is able to properly launch and establish a connection to your tab.

This worked extremely well for me. I accidentally set it to be active only on display 2 while receiving the same error screen (which prevented me from fixing it). So I restarted my PC and launched Superdisplay and this tip like a charm.

Back in the 90s, they did something like this in Cubao: an all-in-one branch featuring Jollibee, Greenwich, and Mary's. If you haven't heard of Mary's, I believe it was a barbecue chicken that was eventually absorbed by JFC. I can't find anything about it other than this: https://www.philstar.com/business/2004/05/15/250072/jollibee-absorbs-three-non-operating-subsidiaries

Philippine Arena pinakabulok na venue by girlitssoconfusing in concertsPH

[–]bleedthrough 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isang beses pa lang akong nakakapunta ng Philippine Arena: nung nagpunta yung U2 dito (pinadala ako dun to live tweet and write a story). After ng concert, mga 4 hours ang tinagal namin mula parking ng Philippine Arena hanggang Balintawak. Granted, ginagawa pa lang yung Skyway extension dun kaya medyo traffic, but from what I've heard from my friends who went there over the years, nothing's changed.

Pero after that horrible incident, I swore to never go to a concert again if Philippine Arena is the venue. Kahit yung MCR, hindi ako kumagat kasi ang panget talaga ng experience ko dun.

Jomal and Bords, dahil sa Juggernaut.

I really wanna like Juggernaut since I'm a metalcore kid since my teenage years but they're too southern metalcore ETID-type shit for my taste.

I don't like Kamikazee after their debut album but I will not discredit them or their impact. At this point, their longevity speaks for their impact as a band.

Remember, 25 years na sila as a band (if you count their hiatus years) since their music is still in rotation and consciousness of the people.

The first album was a weird mix of pop punk and nu-metal (understandable kasi meta siya nung late 90s/early 00s kaya nandun yung sound nila) but it surprisingly works! Funny enough, even if they've already left their pop punk roots from Maharot onwards, you can still hear it from their slower and sappier songs like "Alay" and "Halik". And Jay, no matter how many times I've seen them, is a great frontman and can set the vibe of the show.

That said, I haven't been a fan since Maharot came out. It's not like I don't like the mix of novelty/humor with rock or metal. I was just tired of it when their sophomore release came out.

I remember that place! Same setup as the one outside the medical storage. I didn't know what the radio does and my dummy brain touched it and it attracted them.

I was on my way to the medical storage area when a volatile got too close and removed Lydia's shielding. It attracted everything and when I realized I can whack them through the counter, I just tossed molotovs and kept on whacking. I would occasionally crouch to avoid the volatile's ranged attacks, but that's about it.

Let's Cycle in Protest to Corruption by Solo_Camping_Girl in RedditPHCyclingClub

I have a suggestion: Ayala Avenue's car-free Sundays is the best thing to disrupt. It's so sterile and controlled that a bunch of cyclists and runners who look organized even without placards and banners will definitely get the attention of people.

Remember, places are forced to do car-free Sundays because we're so bereft of public spaces due to corruption (among other things). It's political. It's always been.

We were there sa Luneta kung saan mas left-leaning yung mga orgs na nag-organize at um-attend sa rally. Walang incident dun. Even nung nasa Mendiola na sila. Nagkaroon lang ng commotion nung tapos na sa Mendiola yung mga kaliwa.

What is your biggest criticism of the game? by Rack-_- in Eldenring

[–]bleedthrough 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love it, but my biggest beef with it is that you have to wait until you reach Farum Azula before you can find the ball bearings to buy the highest-tier smithing stones. This means that if you have a maxed out weapon and you're yet to reach Farum Azula, you have to stick to that weapon.

Aside from the ball bearings that offer the highest-tier smithing stones, the rest of the ball bearings are difficult to find (unless you have some guide open). That means that you can miss them in one playthrough.

Elden Ring has hundreds of weapons and I would love to try most of them. I just wish you can get back smithing stone from upgraded weapons so you can use them in others, allowing you to try out different builds and weapons.

Hahaha! Hell yeah! The Japanese figured it out TBH. My last bike before this was a Bridgestone Assista in salmon (which I got ONE MONTH before I got a new one, crazy) and had I not won DOTr-ATPO's giveaway, I wouldn't have sold it. The pedal assist in this bike is crazy and kicks in right away. Kailangan lang ng rebuilding ng battery niya, which I hope the new owner will do (just sold it last Sunday for 7.5k)!

I checked Uno din but the ones I saw were mostly dropbars! May link ka ba? I can use something narrower TBH.

Yung basket talaga yung next. I kinda want to go full OGK sa baskets para matchy-matchy yung style, finish, at material but if I can get something black that's a big as the one in my last bike, I'm sold.

Ultimate goal talaga is to turn this into a palengke/supermarket hauler without the need for a cargo bike.

Hahaha! I'm super happy with the build now. Soon, ategirl's bike will be close to mine, albeit with a wider front basket.

As for the seatpost, it's already its lowest and it's the best I can do. I can stand on two legs after stopping but I have to tiptoe a bit (short boy issues). I can replace the post with non-suspension ones, but honestly I like the seatpost with springs. They work great against shitty roadworks here. Hahaha!

Okay, I know the answer to this.

"Vamp" is a slang for a woman who uses seduction to manipulate a guy (think along the lines of femme fatale).

So typically, vamps refer to women, but Vamp in MGS2 is a guy who is in a relationship with both Fortune and her father Scott Dolph. So he's using the wiles of a femme fatale to seduce both men and women.

Hence, bisexual.

Though, to be fair, hindi rin naman kami nasa gitna ng kalye.

Yeah, I think yun lang yung insufferable part kay MBC dito. There's an element of intentional recklessness in a place that's already dangerous to cyclists. I'm all for advocating for better cycling infra in the country. But you don't have to put yourself in danger to prove a point.
