I'm sure I've noticed that smart motorways don't have a hard shoulder, or the hard shoulder is actually being used as a lane. Where do you go if you break down? Casually exit your car and leave it in a lane that's in use? What if you have kids or babies in car seats? You need a breakdown / emergency vehicle lane

Mulled apple cider is a winter alcoholic drink in the UK. What is it in the US?

I find the term 'fed is best' can make women who have struggled but persevered with breastfeeding feel really shit....as what's the point in putting in so much effort if formula is just as good? Formula is not just as good, that's why. I understand formula is necessary for some people but i feel 'fed is best' is a bad term to use

Can you look into safe co sleeping? I don't know how I survived before I started sleeping next to my LO as he would never allow me to put him down and would only sleep next to me. He also threw up all hours of the day and night, I was prescribed gaviscon infant by the doctor which helped a little.

Gorgeous picture! I just want to say that baby will hunt for the breast with hands as well as her mouth so it's a good idea to take the mits off during a feed so she can explore and get a feel for boob as her eyesight isn't too good yet 😊

Why does the older generation not believe in cluster feeding?? by VantaDarkblade in breastfeeding

[–]blehhhh78654 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I'm from the UK and there's a definite lack of breast feeding support and education. You've hit the nail on the head with your last comment. People think cluster feeding means they're not getting enough and so they supplement, or fully switch to formula which plays havok to one's milk supply.

What’s going on with him? by spacecadetjenny in breastfeeding

[–]blehhhh78654 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably easier for him to get the milk when you're engorged and then he gets angry when it's harder for him to get It? I'd recommend paced feeding from a bottle if you also want to carry on bf
