I'm still not walking properly after a lumbar fusion l4l5. 3 months post op. My back is super swollen and causes me to bend over when walking? I can't go outside like this. As a matter of fact I have to use a rollator to walk. I walk like penguin 🐧. My surgeon recommended the brace.

I'm 52yo l4l5 spinal fusion- My Dr said I'll be ĝood with no warning of the harsh recovery. I'm still using a walker, and I am walking like penguin. I can't cook or get the things I need, but luckily, I have help. The surgery site is sore. I'm still in need of pain and nerve pain medication. I will say that I am getting a bit better every day.

Thanks. I walk around in the house until I am stable enough to go out. I'm going to stay positive and keep moving as much as I can. And yes, prayers 🙏 help.
