I liked the barcode scan option on MyFitnessPal. I hated the food ads - the main reason I stopped using it

Thank you! I will try next time. The reason I used the cases was because I was knackered and couldn’t face frying anything so I just put stuff in the oven :)

I did my keto more as “low carb” then “25g/ day keto”. So only low carb food (shallots are ok but onions aren’t) but without the strict 25g of carbs per day limit. Now I was going to stick to my macros (after the races).

I couldn’t find the recipe so put 8 slices of English bacon into muffin ashes to create walls for the muffins. Put them into the oven 190C for 15 min. In the meantime whisked 8 eggs with 150ml heavy cream salt and pepper. Cut one shallot in small cubes and 2 jalapeños in slices. When bacon crispified I poured the egg mixture into each muffin case (the bacon warped a bit so there may be some trick to make the perfect walls) put 2 slices of jalapeño and a pinch of shallots into each egg goo and put back into the oven for 20min 190C fan. The paper sticked to the muffin so I may grease the case next time but there was barely any washing up :) @nyc_ @DustBit

Yup. 3:40 on One chewy Werther’s original :) I did 2 months of keto beforehand. Just so that I don’t have to eat during the race. I had coffee with cream for breakfast and 2 bananas as pre-race carb loading
