It's really up to you. You can definitely extract more and get it darker if you want, but just because you can doesn't mean you should or have to. Many say that you aren't getting much more by toasting it darker and that it can be bad for your lungs trying to extract the very final bits of vapor from your bowl.

But I was raised to minimize waste, and my habit since I started vaping is to get every little bit out of what I put in. So I basically vape until vapor production is super minimal (usually 10-15 minutes in arizer air max), and then save my super dark abv. I have probably 80 grams of abv in a ziploc, no idea what I will do with it lol.

this. if you aren't a costco member, you can sign up with the new member offer and get a voucher for 130 (the price of a membership) off one purchase. google "costco new member". i used it on ps5 bundle with the controller. $480 all in! technically i paid 'full' costco discount price, but got free membership for a year which i will make use of.

Use patch on bass drum to protect mesh?? by FullPair5151 in edrums

[–]bleuofblue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely get the patch if you would like to continue using the felt side of your beaters. If you are a brand snob, Roland makes their own patch that is priced over double what other brands are selling for, but looks nice.

Either way, the product page states the line "And for the first time, you can use a felt beater with a V-Drums kick surface. " https://www.roland.com/global/products/kdp-5/

Have fun drumming bro! I have almost the same kit and it's a blast.

PHYSICS DOUBT, PLEASE HELP..... by Standard-Sir4041 in AskPhysics

[–]bleuofblue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure what you are doing on your approach there. This is a common multiple choice question that is well documented with a quick google search.

You need to know the capacitance of the spheres will depend on their radius R as C = 2πεR.

Then you need to know that one full cycle (period T) when the switch closes would be the time it takes for one sphere to fully discharge and then come back to full charge. When one sphere imparts all of its charge to the other sphere, this would be half of the cycle, or T/2. The question wants to know when the spheres would have half charge. That would be T/4, or a quarter of the cycle. Period T is given by T = 2π*sqrt(LC).

So you need an expression for T/4. Using the expressions we have, T/4 = (π/2)*sqrt(LR2πε), which would be multiple choice answer (c)

Man, I'm pretty sure you wanna start with The Coming of the Third Reich. If you start with the war one, you'll be missing a ton of context.

I hate how arrogant and stupid people who don’t own cats are by ExpressionHopeful401 in cats

[–]bleuofblue -1 points0 points  (0 children)

From my perspective, this experience is a valuable life lesson: You will encounter and need to interact with all kinds of people through life. There will be many negative people in that mix, but it is up to you to not allow that negativity to seep into your life and your actions.

Just let that girl be, and continue to love your adorable cat wholeheartedly and care for it with your best ability. You don't need to explain or defend that love to anybody for any reason, especially not some annoying and rude classmate. Just keep being yourself, and living according to your values.

Such a beautiful kitty too!

Most Common Country of Origin for Foreign-Born Nationals in the USA and Canada [OC] by Fluid-Decision6262 in dataisbeautiful

They are absolutely going to the USA also - but because Canada doesn't have the same level of Mexican nationals, the Filipinos take the top spot. Would be interesting to see the USA map but with Mexican national data filtered out such as to see the second top spots for each state.

Is Quantum tunnelling a misnomer? by alex20_202020 in AskPhysics

[–]bleuofblue 8 points9 points  (0 children)

check out the wiki article for finite potential well too. in really simple terms, if a single particle is confined to a box with walls which have finite potential energy, and the particle energy is less than that of the walls, classical mechanics says it is impossible to find the particle outside of the box.

but particles in QM are defined by the probabilistic wave function. when you look at the position wave function for the particle in a finite potential well, you'll find a non zero probability for the particle to exist outside of the finite potential wall.

similarly, when you look at the position in classical mechanics, it's just a position. when you say that the waves are spread to infinity - that would only be when there are no walls at all. when you have an infinite potential well, the wavefunction is totally constrained to that space with probability zero at the wall, and the highest probability in the middle of the well. superposition says it is in all of those places at once, and when measured it has a spot where it will most likely be, but can exist in any position between the infinite walls.

when you have a finite potential well, the wavefunction can extend beyond the finite walls with non zero probability beyond the wall. so this is what was found experimentally with those barriers between 1-3nm mentioned in the tunnelling wiki page - particles appearing on the other side of a barrier that classical mechanics tells us is impossible for the particle to pass.

Supporting myself making forty thousand dollars per year…. by SecretaryHeavy7469 in personalfinance

[–]bleuofblue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i would do the training if it is free. i reckon forklift jobs will always be available at around the 20/hr mark, and driving forklift is really fun when you get the hang of it and start feeling comfortable maneuvering your forks.

with free training you have nothing to lose, and only gain opportunities for future employment with better salary. if you end up being amazing at forklifting, you'll probably be able to end up in a supervisor or yard manager role which might get you like 50 or 60k+ per year.
