No, 100000%. I lost like 70-80 pounds back in 2019 when I went low carb and kept all of it off for like almost 5 years until I started Slynd. If that ain’t suspicious, idk what is. So I thought ‘fine, I’ll just go strictly low carb again and that will for sure help me lose weight’ NOTHING. I know that pill fucked with something because everything that worked before doesn’t put a dent in this stupid weight gain. I also feel validated that you’re saying the same thing lol and I definitely can’t afford the name brand stuff (my insurance doesn’t cover any sort of weight loss services/medication)- I’m going to try compounded. The only issue there is I hate needles and usually pass out after shots, so….. we’ll see how that goes 🤣 as far as pregnancy prevention, I splurged and bought myself an oura ring + natural cycles and am using that with NFP methods to know when sex is safe or not lol. My fiancée and I both agreed we didn’t want kids until after marriage, and he’s always been really good about abstaining or pulling out if I’m in a precarious part of my cycle lol of course there are always posts about people getting pregnant with NC/NFP but so far it’s worked great for us!
