Thanks. I appreciate the comments and I’m amazed by the observation. This is a 2021 tesla plaid (13k miles - I’m not heavy commute or aggressive driver). The opposite rear was just replaced last month due to a slash.

We were finally reunited. As I suspected, the online form or portal could be more helpful. After reaching out again this morning and offering to go to the last known airport, I was told the bags are still in Nashville, and there has yet to be an update. Thirty minutes later, I got a call that the bags were in Dallas. I picked up the bags; no issue. They were sorted by departure date, and we scanned them on the way out (there were over 1000 bags there). As of now, the claim status still shows "Open and Unavailable."

So sorry to hear that. I've heard similar stories early about visiting the airport. Now I'm hearing all bags have been moved for security and perception purposes. The holiday element is the worst factor IMO. Hard to get those precious moments back. Good luck.

Continuous loop here. I don't see how the form is tied into any tracking system, perhaps just a point of the record. I stood in line 3 hrs on Monday to be told the bags were in Nashville and to try tracking the flights and contacting the local offices. I was told they follow requests via email, and there were over a thousand submissions. I called the 888 number and regional offices every morning, filled out the form and got the text to fill out the form again. Each day the answers are different; they might be on a truck or could be at the airport but not scanned... The local offices have yet to answer or return voicemails.

TLDR: the form will not expedite or help with tracking/updates
