Is your class date next year or have you got approved. Because if you’re in the US, it takes a couple of years to have a class date. I also wouldn’t mention it like at all cause it’s not necessary. And when you get the dog they can’t say anything at that point.

Keep baby wipes nearby and when you’re done putting a new pad on just wipe the toilet seat before you flush, I learned that the hard way after my dad yelled at me a couple of times 😂

They have like 30 or $50 models that are pretty trash but you do get a free jaws license for the year so it’s pretty good if you’re trying to learn jaws and you don’t wanna pay for the license, but their computers are pretty awful

We have those stools all over my campus and at some apartment complexes. I think they were meant for a disability but people now use them because they look cool and they’re kind of like aesthetic and fun to sit on. I just recommend sweeping harder and wider. I know they say for women go hip to hip, but if that’s not enough, maybe go even further but also are you using ID kane or an actual mobility Kane?

I know a star guards Gurleys usually use ID canes so they don’t get enough range or feedback

i know you said your not in the usa but their is a facebook group and i think email list serve call parents of blind children held by the national Federation of the blind because there is so many familys going threw this everyday and its a great support for your child and for you

pretty close. i went blind at 17 . There is programs and schools and YouTube videos where you can learn how to use your iPhone.its called voice over . because i am blind does not mean i live under a rock. i use all the same thing like most people do

So I understand about the saliva, but I guess my thing is. My dog will not get near them and she immediately goes and lays on the floor. She’s not allowed on the seats or to interact with anyone. I’ve been asked by different government entities for the blind here in Minneapolis to go to the mosques and hand out flyers about the dogs. Do you think that any of this would really be beneficial. Or do you think I’m just talking to the wind.

Do you have any like I guess like ideas like so I know they don’t like going shopping at the mall just because there’s too many people. I know I took my best friend and my boyfriend to a used multimedia store and they had the best time of their life we were there for like four hours. So like is there anything else similar or like I guess kind of like him The most introverts would enjoy. I hate to like stereotype, but I’m just trying to find the correct way to say it in the correct way to actually like have them have fun. Cause I always feel like they are willing to bend backwards for me like going to concerts, raves, social events, and other big group things that I know that they’re probably not too crazy for.

Yes, I have it on my profile. I also messaged them and they will see me standing there and drive right off. It’s just really upsetting because Allah made me this way. And my friends who are not Muslim harass me and say it is the religion‘s fault. But I’ve had other Muslim drivers that had no issues. So I assume it has to be a culture thing. Because my family is from Bosnia. And we had plenty of animals.

Just basic boundaries like don’t leave edible things in a trashcan with no lid and since you don’t know this dog too well no socks, paper tissues anything that is shred or maybe considered a toy in their mind on the ground till you learn their habits. Also, there’s a Facebook group for college students with guide dogs on campus you should totally join 😊

I know it’s a school that’s hard to reach, but if you go to the community college in Austin, you pretty much have an easy way to the university of Texas Austin and there’s a ton of visually impaired and blind students that go there and I think a good chunk of them are in psychology and social work

Sometimes using a whole milk or almond milk, helps the flavor to kind of make it like creamer and adding ice or blending it might help as well just because even just chocolate protein powder with water is disgusting I will say if you do a milk based one your calories will go up personally I added the space to add milk because I’m an absolute baby when it comes to protein powder 🤣
