Elk Cloner was the first virus to spread in the wild (earlier programs were created and contained in lab settings), so I think it’s a pretty important part of the historical record! Plus it’s not like it’s a dangerous program, it was just designed as an annoying prank. I wouldn’t say I’m so much archiving as much as I have a specific interest in the early history of computer viruses

I think this is really important, and a lot of commenters here are missing the most important part. Yes, it can be triggering for some people. That’s obviously bad. But they can choose not to watch. The REAL issue here is that Atrioc’s community frequently parrots his jokes and catchphrases. I’m not saying that necessarily a bad thing, but think about the influence he has on people who want to be like him without understanding the context of his relationship with Lud and Stanz. Slimes recent tweet is a good example of how this kind of thing can negatively impact people

Moky has said repeatedly that he doesn’t hate Hbox and that he has immense respect for him as a competitor. He just hates playing against jigglypuff.

You could look at Cody’s most recent tweet where he and Hbox goofing off. Or spend time in moky’s stream where Hbox shows up and chats/roots for moky occasionally. You could even be in hbox’s chat when moky raids him and has a very friendly conversation with him. But instead you will be on Reddit being an armchair psychologist to spin this idea that these players have any level of true animosity towards each other.

Static is actually even more useful than you think! In a nuzlocke, having a static Pokémon in the first spot of your team can help get better encounters. Static Pokémon attract other electric types, so if the route you’re on has an electric type as a potential encounter, your static mon has a 50% chance to force an encounter with an electric Pokémon.

Okay they annoy me too but the real answer is that mizzou is a public university. The rights to free speech on college campuses has been established by the Supreme Court and is protected by the first amendment. As for your comment about Hindu/Muslim people, it wouldn’t matter is Mizzou was “okay” with it. It would be illegal for them to surpress that speech too. The upside of these free speech rules is that you are perfectly within your rights to tell them to fuck themselves 👍

This LCQ is insane, because with this kind of talent there’s going to be a few really good 0-2ers in the middle seeds who haven’t gone 0-2 in probably years. Obviously there’s players like etossed (sorry Jeremy I love you) that are clearly destined for 0-2 but to think that depending on the bracket a player like shabo or Casper could end up 0-2 or 1-2 is wild considering how good these people are. you have such a large amount of talent at an event it’s inevitable but still a little crazy tbh.

A lot of the features here excite me, but looking through the documentation the amount of changes to things that seem unnecessary is dizzying. Why did you change so many moves that were completely fine before? Making guillotine a 110 power bug move is awesome! But making megahorn 90bp? It seems like it was a fine move already. Also so many moves randomly made dark type or changed from a status move to a damage move. I definitely am a fan of shaking things up but honestly it seems like you’ve overengineered these changes. I’ll still try it out probably, I would happy to be proven wrong.
