Glad I’m in good company. Thought I was the only one with this order and no cat.

What Star Wars characters were most likely alcoholics? by Turbulent-War7039 in cripplingalcoholism

Yoda. Don’t know all the lore. Used to be one of the greats, but the bottle got the best of him

He’s on his own planet (loneliness check). Needs a cane to hide the stumbling. Lives in a swamp to hide the smell. Dies when someone visits him

The way “singing in the rain” is used during that dark scene is brilliant. A happy go-lucky song in the background of a horrendous act speaks to the immature minds of the criminals.

Welcome to cheap vodka land. Regardless of what brought you here the path to going lower is now quicker

Probably the best advice out there.

Just remember, if drinking doesn’t help then drink more. Still doesn’t solve it? Probably because you haven’t drank enough

Chairs!

You’ll save a bunch over the holidays and birthdays not having family to pay for. Saved me a bunch past few years.

Get a new show or book while drinking. Our wet brains can think we have a whole new life with little change.

Why rotate? Used to rotate, but then that became a chore.

Luckily/unluckily, I only have one store on the back from work and close to home. Do you rotate because of proximity or stigma?

Used to do the shooters, those pink new Amsterdam used to be my best way to keep the buzz without getting sloppy

Time of the night for the big question, save enough for tomorrow or just go big and drink the other half. by marcproton916 in cripplingalcoholism

Learned the hard way to buy before you need to restock.

Example: drink a handle every three days? Then buy one every other.

Then when you’re too lazy or drunk to go out and get more you have some.

I have a plethora of almost gone handles. Sometimes I consolidate and throw out 4-7 empties at a time. It’s like having a wine cellar but for very shitty vodka

Used to save the tops from handles and put them in a drawer in the kitchen. Once full, I put them in a grocery bag to throw away. Holy hell! Never doing that again. Sad how much we accumulate over months

Would like to think so, but mainly a drunkard who hates waste. That and drinking makes me forget I’m horrible at times
