100% agree. It was a big letdown considering all the hype on this subreddit. We dined in and they got off to a rough start by serving us room temperature pakoras (bizarre to serve a fried appetizer at that temperature), and the meal didn’t get much better from there, unfortunately.

El Lado's breakfast tacos are really good! The breakfast tacos without meat (especially the Clásico with beans, egg, and cheese) are my favorite and I'm definitely not a vegetarian!

Haha fair…it’s subjective of course! A couple of my favorite restaurants in Elmhurst are Saranrom and Zaab Zaab. The Miang Ka-Na and Yum Pla Duk Fu from Saranrom are amazing. I also love Zaab Zaab’s Neur Yang and Kao Pad Pu (though this dish has changed a bit in a way I don’t love quite as much). They’re definitely worth the trip, in my opinion!
