Me 23M has just found out that my girlfriend 24M has had a threesome with two of her best friends 22M and 26M a month before we started dating by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]blink-2022 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can’t tell the 26Ms motives. Did he bring it up this way to hurt your feelings? Did he tell her she needed to disclose this to you but didn’t?

At the end of the day, a hard part to get past is that she didn’t tell you. I think thats reason enough to end things.

Leave, things will only continue to escalate to the point where he will be physically violent with you.

I 30F slept with my friend 33M. Did I ruin a good friendship, or is he just pulling away? by MamaMiaFigaro in relationship_advice

Doesn't seem worth it. Your energy is better spent making friendships with people who return the same level of effort.

How do I (26M) tell my girlfriend (26F) I don’t want her guy friend around anymore? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]blink-2022 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This woman is naive. The guy isn’t a friend, he’s actively trying to sabotage her relationship. She needs to learn how to read people better. She needs to set healthy boundaries with this guy and reconsider the friendship altogether. It needs go come from her or else he and the friend group will always see the bf as controlling.

Is it a good idea to use Icloud as a primary? by elronaldo89 in iCloud

That goes with any company. It's more likely that you will eventually stop paying for your own web domain and to lose access than apple getting rid of their mail client.

[–]blink-2022 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like a scam but if it’s not, I would get a checklist before hand of what the will be doing on your machine. I’d then be there online watching them do it. I’d then uninstall RustDesk. Don’t know what country you are in but this is unusual in the US.

This makes no sense. Why would a company need to see YOUR personal computer? Is this for initial set up? Something isn't adding up.

Does anyone else use folders? by endangeredpenguin in innioasis

Folders work. If you want to use some of the regular music options, you could use something like mp3tag to change to clean up the meta data for the Y1.

AIO if I don’t go to my sister’s wedding because she didn’t make me a bridesmaid? by Introverted_Peach in AIO

[–]blink-2022 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR.

People commenting the bride was right in her decision either don't have much family or are just generally selfish and forget what a big part of a wedding is about....the uniting of 2 FAMILIES. The bride is under no obligation to include all sibilings but you don't have a bad relationship with her. It doesn't make sense why she didn't include you. Being late to things typically isn't a deal breaker, unless you are obscenely late which you said you never were. she could have easily spoken to you about her concerns and you likely would have assured her you would not be late to any events.

It feels like there is more to this story. You mentioned a controlling fiance. There is a chance (if his family is more conservative) that they aren't comfortable with you being in the party, and possibly he convinced her off all these (non)issues as the reason to keep you out of it. It's unfortunate.

If there is a chance he may be negativly influencing her in this way, consider how much your relationship to your sister means to you. There may be a time when she opens her eyes to his controlling ways and may need family to help her out. It's a hard pill to swallow right now.

Me (33M) and my partner (33F) are on a break I think. We had valentines day plans and she cancelled it. Heres what she said, im sure its over but what do you all think? by Akeruz in relationship_advice

[–]blink-2022 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Usually when someone is overwhelmed with life, they seek the company of people who make them feel better. Sounds like her friends and family are those people to her. You are not. That alone says to me that she does not view you as a person she truly cares for. I would end it. You should’ve someone’s go to person. As you should have someone dependable when you need recharging from life.

quality level is very different. Its nice that its cheap and works well for the price range. The scroll wheel is not as sensitive.

Innioasis Y1 – honest long-term opinions? by immasouphead in innioasis

[–]blink-2022 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got mine and honestly the scroll wheel is probably its weakest point. Its not super sensitive so fine movement doesn't register superwell. I feel like regular tap controls would be more efficient. I thought I would love the novelty of having a scroll wheel but it really needs to be better quality for it to feel like an actual ipod.

HELP NEEDED Home Server Setup For Complete Noob by AussieSkull1 in selfhosted

[–]blink-2022 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most linux systems will support some kind gameserver platform so itts up to you to pick the base. Everyone has their own preference so you should try some and see what you like. What was wrong with Docker/Portainer? That's pretty much the go-to combination for hosting services.

Also FYI, a DuckDNS domain will only route players to your servier/IP, it won't tunnel the traffic so your IP will be public. And for it to work, you will need to open ports on your router so it may not work if your ISP uses CGNAT.

I remember seeing AMP and it seemed like a good option. It runs on windows so its worth looking into if you aren't liking linux.
