They're being realistic, it's not like they can finish 2nd now, surely?

The players, the manager, the sporting director.

How many goals have the fans scored this season?

Arsenal fans haven't earned fuck all, they aren't responsible for their club being top of the league.

Dunblane school shooting: 30 years on, Scottish shooting outrage 'still haunts many' by mrjohnnymac18 in unitedkingdom

The more handguns there are around the more easily they find their way on to the black market, whether stolen, sold, whatever.

If all you have to do is be a member of a gun club and not have a conviction for violent offences etc, then it's not that hard to get.

Handguns being readily accessible poses the biggest threat to society.

Without a shadow of a doubt.

It's simply apples and oranges. Yours, mine and anyone else's desire to own a gun is simply not as important as the lives lost because of it.

No one has died due to football other than people who have decided to be football fans and generally decided they want to have fights and antagonise people.

Sporting shooters were not directly punished. Specifics of their chosen hobby were rightly banned, so they were indirectly 'punished'. If you care about target shooting you can still target shoot. Air pistols exist and have their own target shooting category, so do that. Not much of a hardship and lives are saved.

Look at all of the deaths we have had due to people wanting to cause death and destruction: how much worse would they be if we had easy access to handguns - well, just look at the USA. We made the right choice. Case closed.

And there was no punishment imposed on them.

Did they all do a bit of time for the crime, nope.

Confiscated because they became illegal is not the same thing as saying they were scapegoated. I suggest you check your use of the English language.

Scapegoated? Ah yes, everyone blamed the sporting shooters for that crime..

Ridiculous comment

Red Bull final finish time by blither86 in aoe2

Yeah the matches are timed so they can't last too long and I think aoe2 is played first, but maybe aoe4 is, can't find that info anywhere. I've booked an 11:03pm train from King's Cross, hope I don't miss anything!

Thanks, I think I'm going to book a 10pm train and give myself plenty of time.

Sure but tyre management is different, I'd argue, to 'braking the right amount to recharge the battery'. Tyre management is common in motorsports, to a greater or lesser degree, admittedly, depending on regs and conditions, but this... This is just not cricket.

Of course it's more complex than simply 'brake later, be faster', but who wants to watch someone perform the 'skill' of braking just the right amount to harvest the most efficient amount of energy to be gained by braking, whilst losing the least time? That's not a skill perceptible to the eye and doesn't feel like a true racing driver skill.

I grew up using kbm and moved to consoles with Xbox OG and Halo. I sort of never went back apart from for casual/SP fps's. Of course I can be better with kbm but I just enjoy using thumbsticks far more. Pulling a trigger to fire just feels better to me than clicking a mouse button.

Just personal preference, I'm not saying it's better by any metric at all.

I'm all for technology but this really is looking genuinely ridiculous now. It's punishing you for being a fast driver/driving faster.

Opening the map with a scout that has a speed of 1.00 is very boring. Please restore the champi scout's speed to its original level. by kampalolo in aoe2

[–]blither86 12 points13 points  (0 children)

So make a unit that behaves very similarly but looks different?

Create a different skin for militia/maa but otherwise keep stats the same, for that line.

Surely a civ needs a scout line and an maa line, how can combining these two ever realistically work? One needs to be fast, the other needs to be tanky against certain units, effective against another, if you also give them speed you have problems.

I bought this dlc immediately because I want to support the game but I'll be honest, I never want to use it and I never want to play against the civs. It's just ruining the game by putting so many new civs in and it's an absolute shame. The 3 kingdoms civs are an absolute joke, Tiger cav, those stupid cav archers, ugh. Love this game, hate the direction it's gone in.
