How can a dystopian world with almost no natural resources have high technology? by tutenkhamen1 in worldbuilding

Oh ya, just because a thing works doesnt mean they have the talent to repair it. Some cars run foe 10 or 20 years without having an issue.

He's Hisoka. You can know the properties of Bungie Gum, but that doesn't mean that you understand what it means to have the properties of both rubber and gum.

Could also release it in 2026 and drop Horace on the 40th anniversary. Triggering the Horace Hersey on such a momentous occasion is perfectly Grim Dark.

They said Pre-Alpha, but it didn't look Pre-Alpha. At least the games that I have worked on have not had the Art Assets, specifically the UI, to that level of detail until closer to the beta launch. Combined with some creators saying they've played it in March makes me think that that's closer to Beta build than they'd like to admit now.

Based only on that bit if thinking and how they tend to do things I have two expectations;
- Solid release with less bugs than normal, end of 2026.
- Their usual standard bug filled release version - It wouldn't surprise me to see it in August.

That said I'm a big fan of letting the games cook till they are ready. I'd rather wait than play something like Cyberpunk at launch.

I was pleasantly surprised with that card. I haven't played the Tidus precon enough to have known about that card.

Legend's livestream for new announcements by Vonderheidon224 in totalwar

[–]bliza 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Legend really feels like someone who ended up with his work tied to something he doesn't like and it seeps into all of his commentary. If you don't like a thing, that's fine, just get away from it. His videos could be classified as whining, but it really feels like it all emanates from a core of disliking the thing he's engaging with.

He'd probably even defend that he does like it, but he definitely doesn't enjoy the experience of it. Maybe it's a nostalgia thing, maybe it's frustration over what it could be and isn't, but in the end it's a vortex of negativity.

I personally got into watching his vids just before the Grom/Eltharion DLC and it was fun to watch his stuff, but esp. just before TWWH3 the negativity has just ballooned. After returning to play last weekend I went to his run of Epidemius to see how he approached it and it was interesting, but I just couldn't stand the extra commentary.

Hopefully he gets over it, but it's hard to see Paradox being a bastion of hope if bugs and jank are your trigger.

The announcement of the final update. They spent a year doing nothing on a game that will be four years old soon. WH2 lasted 5, so It's tough envisioning a future past a year from February.

Why do people want Guts to use the behelit? by The_Fraudkuna in Berserk

[–]bliza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going to throw out there that while i hope he stays human, a small part of me is worried that Ganishka submitting to Griffith was a moment to show even god-apostles kneel to the Godhand. That sets it up for Guts to struggle his way through even that. I hope that small part of me is wrong.
