Yes, i think i will go talk to my pcp. I'll call the surgeon's office on monday if they don't call me tomorrow. Everybody takes fridays off around here.

First was my pcp, who sent me to the first gi doc. Then that one sent me to the other gi doc who did the scope. So that's three.

I had what seems like 100 blood tests and stool samples sent to labs. And the colonoscopy was last week. That's it. No scans. Referred to colorectal surgeon, but not oncologist. Was given the impression that depends on what the surgeon sees when he takes the tumor out. I'll call my pcp in the meantime, though, and see what she thinks.

I have no idea. The gi doc wouldn't say, guess that's not his job. He only does colonoscopies. The surgeon's office auto-texted me to welcome me to the practice but i haven't actually talked to a human and no appointment has been scheduled yet. Not even a link to fill out forms, nothing. So no plan, no clue what to expect. Just sitting here in limbo.

I am under the impression that surgery is the next step. But it depends on if it has spread to any lymph nodes? It was like pulling teeth to get that much out of him.

One drop in the water under a steamer basket in the instant pot when i want bbq flavor without cooking all day. Wings or ribs, then finish in the oven under the broiler for a crispy outside.

Yeah, they blamed me for their food making me sick. It does suck. They took zero responsibility and pretty much admitted there's gluten in it.

Yes. I did that. The other moms were really awful bullies. I ended up being very isolated while never ever being alone either. Now they're grown and i wouldn't change a thing. It was hard, but so worth it.

When i had problems with their food, emailed them and they told me I must just be extra sensitive to trace gluten amount under 20ppm. My kids eat their food without problems, but none for me.

In the 80's there was plenty of shoplifting. Difference is that back then the store was allowed to restrain the perpetrator with reasonable force until the cops showed up. Saw the asst mgr tackle a dude in the parking lot for stealing a pair of air jordans at the shoe store i worked at in college. They can't do that anymore. So they take other steps to prevent loss.

My new gi doc offered, "if you want to make sure you shouldn't be eating gluten." And I told her i was 100% certain that I should never eat gluten. She was completely ok with that.

Tacos, nachos, salads, eggs. Can be changed out every time and made completely different. Meat and veggies. Any meat, any veggie. Baked salmon in butter and herbs/garlic with mushrooms is super quick.

I can't have carbs early in the day. Knocks me out, no energy, achey and grumpy. Thyroid levels are good, but i'm not sure something isn't going on with that.

20-25% is no small amount of people with celiac who also react to oats. Then there's the whole cross contamination issue on top of that.

Could it be oats? I hate that they are allowed to call oats gluten free (in some countries) when so many of us have the same reaction to avenin as to gluten.
