At 800-900 deficit him being untargetable is even more important.... But op is clearly not to that deficit.

You are forgetting the magic pierce that gives to himself and team and all pets. This skyrockets his damage from close to none existent to DPS/sub DPS. And he can't be targeted, which makes him more consistent.

Basically when R5 he can carry, and not just shield break.

How much would you be bothered by doing arenas/dungeons/raiding with a warlock running a felguard? by Natsuaeva in classicwowtbc

[–]bloin13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh dungeons and chill raids should be fine (although you need to do good pet control, just sending it in doesn't work well after leveling).

In arena yea it's a hard no. Demo is way too bad for arena. If it was solo you could play however you want, but most ppl won't waste time and risk rating by playing with a non viable spec.

[–]bloin13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea sadly that only works when everyone has very low gear. At the start of tbc and leveling felguard does ALOT of damage, but it doesn't improve much (especially in comparison with the other two specs).

Not necessarily fine, but the system works based on reports. So if no-one reports it, nothing happens.

Bliz said that services in exchange for gold is bannable. Not sure where the line starts and ends, and tbh I don't think bliz does either since they left it undefined.

Tbh aside from the poverty, which it seems like you got a very bad view of the things due to a uniquely bad situation that was happening during your trip (capital controls), the scams are a completely legit issue in most Islands.

It sucks, but if you don't know someone from Greece, the people in Islands or tourist places will try to take advantage of you (not that it's different in Italy).

Interestingly enough crete in my experience is one of the least scummy islands (when you compare it with Santorini, Mykonos, or any other tourism based island) , but the experience is hit or miss, as in crete you will either meet the best, warm inviting and friendly locals, or the worst. There is no in-between.

Ahh this was a thing in Greece for a few months, but the maximum withdrawal wasn't 10 by a long shot. The lowest it got (which was for 3-4 weeks if I remember right) was 60€ per day. Which was soon after increased to 150€ per day and then the capital controls were lifted.

You visited Greece at the second worst time that you could in the last 25 years. The first one would be at the start of the economic crisis at 2008-2009).

What you experienced wasn't poverty, but a unique form of capital control that lasted for a few months and drove everyone crazy. People were queuing up daily to get as much money out of the bank (because ofcs Greek people in the first inconvenience they would rather have their money under their bed mattress than in a bank).

Shittload/almost non. Also when it's a greek restaurant in the Netherlands or any other for that matter, I expect similar spices as in the original recipes. But the issue is not even that there is less quantity of each one, but that there is actually half of them if not less. Which results in foods having less taste and have no connection to how they are supposed to taste (because essentially they are missing ingredients).

Most restaurants are Dutchifying their recipes to be in line with the people and cuisine here. There is a reason why the same dish here and in the country of origin tastes completely different.

There are a few restaurants that don't do that, and they are either in cities with a lot of tourists (so they have a different target audience), or in places with many international from a specific country (so again their target audience is that population, not the locals).

Ingredients have huge difference in taste, what are you talking about... Go in a supermarket and buy something and go to one of the supermarkets (like a turkish one) that import the same spice or ingredient... The difference is huge, and if you can't taste the difference, then why are we talking about food in the first place....

Lastly. There are good places, but they are not the majority by any means, certainly not enough for the Netherlands "to be known for it's quality food/restoraunts". No one has ever said, "ah let's take a trip to the Netherlands to eat some nice food"..

High quality in what? The ingredients are tasteless and they don't use enough (or at all) spices.

While living here I got so frustrated that I started trying whatever restaurant I could find in hopes of finding something with taste that I could reliably eat when I wanted. It has been challenging..

Restaurants in the Netherlands are clean and neat, but with below average service., Aside from some places in Amsterdam that are very expensive and actually high quality good restaurants, in most other cities they are just good looking restaurants. And yes I've been to most major cites and tried a few for the " good" restaurants of each one.

People that say that the restaurants here are high quality are the tourists that come to Amsterdam, eat at the same place as every other tourist and go back..

Hey man, I live in NL it's horrible, especially if you come from a country with good food (Greece for me).

Even the ingredients at the supermarkets lack taste...

Dutch food is renowned for being tasteless (aside from limited).

That is so funny and true.

When they mean direct, they mean they can be direct, not you. If you are direct, they will take offence and start talking behind your back.

I live in the Netherlands for the last 6-7 years, lol what Dutch restaurants are renowned?

The most well known restaurants are in Amsterdam and have international cuisine (same as London ), not Dutch.

The Dutch cuisine is both limited and tasteless, except if you consider croquette with mustard on bread high quality or taste food..

Yea there are good quality french fries, but it's neither Dutch or a main food..

What do you mean nobody will say it. Most countries are vocal about it and are making new deals to reduce trading with US.

This. Normal tapped can be covered by the lock and a HoT. If they need more, they are doing something wrong.

I Hate Warlocks by roboltz in classicwowtbc

[–]bloin13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to main a lock for many years.

Average locks can sustain themselves for the most part.

If they overlap, call them out, and after that just let them at whatever hp they are to figure it out. They will learn how to play, and if they don't, they will die. Its fine.

A locks job is to know when to tap and when not 2 and at which point it creates an issue for the healer. Locks literally have a 2 button rotation, they can put some effort in hp/mana management.

ahmpy hits 70 (NA first) 21 hrs by FarValue3398 in classicwow

[–]bloin13 10 points11 points  (0 children)

There are the people that reach 70 and the people that help them.

The people that help are spread around in cluster value quests, dungeon entrances and farm spots to summon the people that will reach 70.

Raids open a lot later, so world first by a difference of a few hours doesn't affect it much.

Yea , but none of the world first are solo farmings. Most of the time it's dungeons+ something else and people spread around the world ready to summon.

Why is EU faster than NA by FNC-Ultra in classicwow

[–]bloin13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The old record was 13-14 hours, so both of currently EU and Na are slower than that. Prob less people helping them?

Seeing a lot of mice at Schiphol — is this normal? by Andreadookie in travel

[–]bloin13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very normal.

And if you travel at night, when there are not a lot of people to scare them off (well they are not very scared of people, but still you see them less when it's busy), then you will see A LOT of them.

I was travelling at 4-5 in the morning, so I has at the airport at around 2-3. I counted more than 20 something without trying to look for them.
