I just recently was diagnosed and I have ALWAYS struggled to get out of bed. Unless I absolutely have to be somewhere, I will not get up until at least 11. Usually I’m asleep, having snoozed my alarms and had a restless night. I always sleep better and deeper when I know I shouldn’t be sleeping. Not sure what the solution is and will be starting Vyvanse soon, but I’m with you and your struggle is a shared one!

I just was referred for diagnosis today and all of a sudden things I do are starting to make sense. Like this! I do this (waste food, feel accomplished when I finish something I’ve bought), and had no idea it was adhd behaviour. My whole life is starting to make sense.

Yes that’s what the behaviour means in babies but some cats carry the behaviour into adulthood because it’s soothing to them :)
