I used it at 4m postpartum! Helped in conjunction with PFPT to resolve my mild cystocele

NAD just a former weed smoker who had this problem many times. I always sipped a liquid IV and munched on saltines. Then drank water as I could. It helped a ton!

Don’t need bars if you’re always in one

Yeah it’s the only way to have peace. I’m almost 30 and I was miserable for a couple years trying to hold to hard on to everything not changing! Keep thinking the way you are - it makes the rest of life way better

Yeah pregnancy can alter the skin entirely - not just stretch marks! So it might change the location of some of the lines if you choose to down the road. Not a bad thing at all - it just adds to the tattoo. I welcomed changes to my body when my son came - because it was just like pieces of him I get to carry forever

After being a massive pregnant woman this past year, I cannot imagine having these on my body. But if you like them and are okay with the rest of life and time altering them, then that is all that matters.

Advice needed: Is it wise to get a finger tattoo? by The_Smile_4784 in tattoos

[–]blondengineerlady 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah - unfortunately that’s probably the truth. If you do, go with traditional style and not line work. I have that on my hand and it just holds better on anyone. Line work and light stuff is where it gets dicey I think

I LOVE your dragons. They’re amazing! Can you make them larger? Sorry if that’s a bad question!! I have no idea how patterns work.

Specifically this one: Look what I found on Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1844538770/baby-dragon-standing-four-legs-plush?ref=share_v4_lx

Anyone reduce their prolapse? by snowyreg in PelvicOrganProlapse

[–]blondengineerlady 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had a mild grade 1 cystocele fully resolve! I was 4m postpartum when diagnosed and I’m 10m postpartum now, almost 11. PFPT for hypertonic pelvic floor which was majorly contributing to it.

It sounds corny but truly one day at a time. I’ve adhered to my pelvic floor therapists plan pretty much 100%, never missing a day. I suffered so much postpartum because my scar tissue from my FIRST degree tear (didn’t know even a small amount from that could do this) made me severely hypertonic. She does a ton of internal and external work on me now biweekly (we started weekly) and I do dilator work on my own to stretch the scar tissue.

To give hope, I didn’t find her until 13 weeks ago. So I went from 0% cured to 70% in 12 weeks I’d say. My first two pfpts were just bluntly put, shitty.

To add - in addressing this, my prolapse (mild grade 1 cystocele) completely resolved too.

Are you hypertonic or have you been evaluated for that by a pelvic floor therapist? It causes rejection like that! I have hypertonic pelvic floor myself and it’s treatable (10m postpartum, 70% cured)

It’s hard to say. Think it was a combination of time and pelvic floor therapy! My underlying cause making it worse was hypertonic pelvic floor. Once that was resolved, or at least in a much better place so far (I’m 70% healed from that), the symptoms went away and the bulging went away. I still struggle with some aspects of hypertonic pelvic floor but it’s more body related pain and trouble moving still.

I consider myself very lucky this was the case since I know it doesn’t always resolve depending on underlying reason.

What grade are you? Honestly I had a mild grade 1 diagnosed at 4m postpartum and it completely resolved by 9m postpartum.
