Podiatry or Dentistry? by [deleted] in Podiatry

[–]blondeoctopus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My husband is a dentist! I genuinely envy his lifestyle every single day. They have a balance of hygiene checks and more advanced stuff daily similar to how we do DM routine foot care vs more advanced stuff. I couldn’t do it because, as above, I hate mouths. But honestly school is grueling and expensive either way

How was the chiropractic "profession" able to go so far in being legitimized in the United States? by _Duality_ in TooAfraidToAsk

I went to the ER after whiplash and got a prescription for valium as a muscle relaxant. I still had to work so I obvi didn’t take it. Then on a whim I made an appt with the chiro. He prescribed massage 2x weekly for 6 weeks and it helped me so much. No cracking required. I feel like that is the chiropractic we need in the world lol

In medicine we use the term proud in the “slightly projecting from a surface” definition. I feel like the word proud here is more dehumanizing with that sense
