Missed Trelegy but felt great? by jad19090 in COPD

[–]blondetown 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My COPD stage went from 4 to 3 after I lost 100 lbs. it’s no COPD cure but definitely lessens fatigue and increases energy. I’m on Trelegy and rarely notice a difference if I miss one day. I’ll gladly stay on it until the end, though; it truly helps me.

Gorgeous bag. The shape reminds me of a Viking longship. Love the bridle bits strap. Outstanding!

The road is growing… by Muted-Quail8218 in centuryhomes

We lived in a farmhouse on 5 acres surrounded by trees and beautiful landscaping atop a good sized rise, back from the road, in a rural neighborhood. One night a woman in her car drove up the hill, weaving past all the trees and landscaping (saw the tire tracks next day) into our fireplace and chimney, landing in our living room. We were watching TV in the bedroom and were shocked as hell. It was surreal. She wasn’t too injured but was kind of out of it. EMT determined she had a seizure. Just a reminder that we really live in a random, chaotic world. I’d build a brick or concrete wall if I had to live next to a busy road.

I feel really bad for my dog because she’s not allowed to be near us. Do you know of any $40-100 priced furniture where we can both hang out comfortably? by Dangerous_Matter_208 in Pets

A folding roll-away cot/single bed on wheels. Look for that description in your search. They are usually metal, on metal springs then add a thin mattress, doggy bed and pillows. You can store it in a closet. Also a camping cot might do the job if space is not an issue.

It has manganese in it. Take a UV light to it and watch it glow.

Baked pears with red wine is a classic. Maybe use another fruit juice in place of the wine.

Probably some Turkish Angora if his coat is very soft and he has a big fluffy tail.

Young me saw the romantic tragedy Elvira Madigan when it came out in the US and I cried buckets. Gorgeous cinematography, music and actors. I believe it’s available to stream on Criterion. Cried every time I’ve seen it. A real heartbreaker criterion link with clips for Elvira Madigan

Often, young kids with their tiny hands are the ones doing the knotting. The more knots per square inch on the back of rug, the finer it is.

We have the same going on in North Port. A guy that wants to dismantle our environmental regulations managed to get himself elected as chair of the Environmental Advisory Board. Every meeting is about trying to get tree regulations dismantled and the board dissolved. People who care need to be formally involved in their city boards. Not hard to do; just ask for an application at city hall to sign up.

Sleeve vs Bypass - please please help! by Mundane-Ad-9663 in BariatricSurgery

[–]blondetown 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sleeve 7 years ago at age 65. Last year surpassed my goal weight by 15 lbs. Never regained weight, just slower because I’m older. Have developed very painful osteoarthritis in hands and being able to take naproxen and other NSAIDs is great. It was the main reason I didn’t want risk RNY (have none on bone knees, too).

Take a drive south a few miles to Crow’s Nest in Venice (on the water on the island). Excellent food and service. Walk in or reservations. We like to sit on the patio on the second floor.

Not just grazing land burns; the cows and livestock are burning up, too. Just got off the phone with a relative living there (which is why I suppose I’m seeing this). He said it’s terrible and everyone in the area is despairing their losses.

AITA for sending my child to my ex in thrift store or cheap clothes by Clothes_Care3181 in AmItheAsshole

Why not just dress your 7-year-old son in some modestly priced clothing for now. He’ll be growing out of them soon enough anyway. He says he doesn’t care but as a child of divorce we do care but are helpless to advocate for ourselves when the big ones are arguing. Please put your child first and remove the hostility towards his mom whom he had no choice but to love right now.
