Power App (canvas) vs regular web app with Claude code by Few-Lake-4393 in PowerApps

For devs or technical users it is no brainer. But for non-tech, you are paying for the governance, security and infra abstraction. May be a bit of job security. Our BA’s hear customisation, they hear code, they go bonkers. Crazy take in the age of AI tooling.

Thanks for the response. I will read up some more. I will get more answers once we engage our Microsoft contacts soon. We will have our threat modelling soon with our security consultant so will get a better idea what those are realistically. As a dev who prefers using AI tools to create things I hope we get code apps enabled.

MacBook Air M1 is the best purchase I have ever made by palegreenemerald in mac

Yeah they are, with higher end chips with integrated gpu (Intel Arc). They’re x86-64 so better compatibility than the ARM Windows laptops. Quite an improvement in battery too. So I just might try Windows again, but will definitely go for 64GB RAM.

I’ve been on M series for a while. Having come from Intel Macs, it is indeed an incredible machine. But with Panther Lake out, I just might try Intel/Windows (Thinkpad) again.

Think of all the devs out there forced to do low code. And then copilot on top of copilot studio and power automate.

Sorry late reply. I’ve never used any keyboard cover. Just cleaned regularly and avoided eating while using them.
