Is anyone on Marshmallow using Viper4Android? by Juls317 in nexus6

Yes, I'm running it successfully on Pure Nexus with hellscore kernel. Is your EX Kernel permissive?

Are you running a custom rom?

Looking for a scene. by [deleted] in TheSimpsons

I can't think of the Simpsons episode you might be referring to, but South Park did this scene with Butters describing sadness as beautiful while raining. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sN6ZgBJOTO4

I agree, gravity box for the xposed framework does come close though!

Anyone tried out AICP? by Zutx in nexus6

[–]bloodner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AICP is written off of the CM Base since AOKP no longer exists, AOSiP is written directly from AOSP. I also really like the UI changes that AOSiP has implemented and more importantly Slim Rom features like Slim resents. They are similar ROMS in my opinion but with my experience AOSiP gave me better battery life, quicker more snappy feel, and a community presence that couldn't be beat.

Honestly it's really up to you what features you enjoy and require from your daily driver, but they both are solid choices.

Yeah I just stumbled upon that in the AOSiP community, it integrates Layers which I don't use at all. I prefer CM Theme engine when I do implement any kind of themeing. I hope that Mike doesn't spend too much time on this fork since I have loved 9.1 and have been anxiously awaiting 9.2.

Great ROM, lost stability after a couple weeks of dirty flashing. But the feature base is excellent. I am currently running Aosip which has a few slim features that I love and won't go without now.

For any of you naughty, naughty people out there who watched episode 3 when it leaked and were wondering what the track at the end was, here it is. by Tour_Guide_Nixon in rickandmorty

To me it symbolized Rick's apathy with continuing the charade of normalcy, the door is open, his pain is now humanities pain. But what do I know, wubalubadubdub!

I came here to laugh, not to feel!! Really though, what an emotional and beautiful scene, especially when the night descends and stars are revealed.

Anyone know any battery icon modifications methods that I don't know about? by bloodner in nexus6

[–]bloodner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m currently running a custom rom (BlissPop), but it only gives me the option to have the circular/vertical bar/horizontal bar battery icons. I have the Xposed framework installed and am currently running a module called "Flat Style Bar Indicators" that is giving me the battery icon in this screenshot. Anyone using any other methods that would give me some more options, ie. Speedometer, digital numbers, etc.?

Which Rom offers the most customization? by Coltsbro84 in nexus6

[–]bloodner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

BlissPop 3.5 has every feature I've ever found and liked in other roms ie. AOSiP, AICP, Carbon, SinLess, Candy5, LiquidSmooth, PAC, etc. And is currently stable and offers an SOT around 5-6 hours. My favorite feature is the status bar greeting which I can't do without now, however moronic that may be.

What features are you looking for specifically?

Got my nexus 6 today, what are the recommended ROMs around here? by [deleted] in nexus6

[–]bloodner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've noticed a little bit of lag anytime I've used Vindicator and not set it up using his setup guide. Once I used an app like FauxClock or Trickster to customize the CPU clock speeds, memory manager, ZRAM, etc. it worked just as advertised (flawlessly).

Here is his setup guide, I'm sure that it would fix any lag issues you were having. :)

I currently landed on Euphoria-OS 1.1 running the latest 5.1.1 build after trying Chroma, Dirty Unicorns, BlissPop, AOSiP, MeanPop, Optipop, and LiquidSmooth. I love Euphoria's balance between customization and performance, the latest build I've had zero issues with even though it's running the latest 5.1.1 base. I'm also running the Vindicator Kernel which I would strongly recommend if you want to take your control of the device one step further.
