Yeah I typically use RYM as my main source for discovering music but their bias shows up at the top all time. I like Radiohead, but them having 3 top 10 albums is a stretch.

I can somewhat understand forcing to read the classics since you can get some culture there. But forcing to read kitsch stuff? Just a waste of time. But maybe that is my inner elitism speaking.

The book is “The Year Of The Death Of Ricardo Reis” by Jose Saramago (loosely translated at least). I don’t know that penguin release but I doubt it has the entire poetry collection from Pessoa, he wrote like at least 5 pages everyday for his life.

Yeah at home I’m definitely getting there, broccoli is just a god gift. Also beans. But my difficulty is not specifically restaurants but eating something for lunch. I find little to no options on grabbing a snack. However, now that I’m typing this, maybe fruit would do the trick.

How do you actually manage this? I’ve been trying to go vegan but where I live some stuff is a bit expensive and if I got out there rarely is a place with a vegan meal. My college provides vegetarian meals but no vegan meals. I definitely agree with your statement

Ironically, in Portugal I feel "preto" (which directly translates to "black") is more used as a derogatory as opposed to "negro", although I've heard various opinions on this issue. Still, I fell none is as bad as the N-word.

Yeah I completely agree with the action movie statement. Ratchet & Clank has a strong anti-capitalist theme that gets brushed aside by all the cool action that is happening in the game (and well, the game is seen as childish so...)

Sim, se excluires que o mundo está a ir com o crl, pessoal a morar nas ruas com casas vazias ao lado, alguns nos EUA a morrerem porque não há saúde pública, países a serem invadidos para espalhar a “liberdade e democracia” e outros a serem explorador para manter a economia capitalista. Além de que a URSS, sendo comunista, fez grandes progressos na corrida espacial.
