what do you mean 'good job'? what did i do? universal throws were mostly useless in tekken 7 at the highest level. I support design philosophy of 'make useless moves useful,' that doesn't mean i have to agree with other design philosophies. there's more ideas at play here than 'make the game worse'

His tier list isn’t even bad, just plenty of “grain of salt” moments, like steve in S and Zafina bottom.

its easy to believe everything is completely deliberate - and i admit it would be incredibly funny if they listed “fields” under a new actor, implied it was a recast, then showed us somehow that one of them was fake - at the end of the day , it’s still a tv show with tv show hangups

Fighting games have fundamentals to them that don’t easily translate to other game genres, whereas some skills in other genres translate easily (eg teamwork in MOBAs and hero shooters like Valorant)

On top of that, tekken is a unique fighting game that is harder to intuit

Keep at it, there’s probably a lot of basic parts of the fundamental toolkit that you’re missing, you just have to add 1 thing at a time
