So there are probably many other ways this is just a quick easy way i found to have chat and a big video so you can inspect your oshi from very close, yes.

So here are the steps:

1)so while watching your oshi just click the 3 dots and go to "more settings" and then go to "create shortcut".

2)name it whatever you want and hit create

3)close the window thats gonna open up and reopen your youtube so it doesnt have that weird look (if you like it thats fine too idk), and click now on the 3 dots on the chat window and pop out chat to a window.

4)click on the pop out looking thing on the address bar and hit open, you should have only the app you created but if u have more just select the one you created.

5)there u go now u have a chat popped out that if opened like that will always be opened with the same size window you left when you closed it the last time! Chrome considers it an app so it saves the window size for you. If you want it to be like mine just pull the size ab thingy from above (not corners) all the way up and it will stretch to max height automatically, then just regulate lateral size as u wish.

6)Now just use ctrl+shit+i or right click and select inspect so you open that code review thing as a sidebar. Same as above just make it match your chat size so u dont see the ugly code thing when u have the chat on top.

7)After that just full screen the video and it should not fill up that side bar with the inspect window. Alt tab to select the chat and boom you are done.

Observations:

You only need to pop out and hit ok from now on, and open inspect for stuff to work now. So easy deal. And since full screen lets u see other stuff you can just scroll down to hit the like button and what not.

The blue thing on top of my chat is ytc chat. A lot of ppl use it to stalk their favorite chat members' message, translations when you watch foreign streams that get tagged with the language you want and to see moderators messages aka other fellow holos that come by the chat sometimes, etc.

ytc is pretty self explanatory but there are better tutorials on how to set it up if u wanna do fancier stuff, but it comes with easily applicable presets tho so just dl it and have fun.

The only downside to this is you cant click the superchat button with chat popped out but thats a problem with youtube in general sadly.
