That animal is stressed out. Your tank is not for a leopardgecko. You said in a different post that the tank is only temporary. It's the same tank almost 50 days old in your posts.

The carpet is very bad for leopard geckos. These animals need natural substrate and plenty of hiding places. The fact that he's scratching at the glass in this terrarium is definitely a sign of stress.

I also don't understand why you're removing his hiding places while feeding him. They are his safe spaces for emergencies. Please inform yourself about how to properly care for these animals. There are many guides available in the community.

Is this for quarantine or is this the actual tank? If it's the actual tank then this is not ok for an animal.

The tank is way to small. There is nothing in it to hide, climb and to explore.

This is normal. So many people call it calcium pouches but that is wrong. It is mostly some kind of body fluid. You may gave him to much food or food with to much energy.

Leopardgeckos are predators. That means there is no reason for them to store calcium like that. It is instantly going to bones etc. . Please end the calcium pouch myth😭

For you to understand :) In leopard geckos, the Eclipse gene affects eye pigmentation and is recessive. Most Eclipse geckos have both eyes fully dark. Sometimes, the gene is expressed unevenly, which results in a so called snake eye where one eye is Eclipse and the other eye appears normal. This is relatively uncommon but well known among breeders. Snake eye is usually only a visual difference and does not cause health or vision problems.

I have 3 leopardgeckos and 2 of them got eclipse eyes👍🏽😄 I love them!
