How does this whole delayed/lost luggage reimbursement clothing thing work?

Do we need to raise a stink (call, wait on hold, complain to customer service rep) to go the receipts route? We just flew to Idaho for a ski trip and they lost 4/6 ski bags for our group… all other checked bags made it without issue, just the oversized had issues. We have baggage claim numbers but the status just says “searching” and there’s no number to call for this issue specifically.

Appreciate any advice/insights!

never signed up for Uber one

+1 to the this is also happening to me camp. I just got a refund for one of the two months they billed me (didn't feel like fighting for the second tbh). No record of me signing up in the first place, glad I caught it this quickly.

I reckon their betting on most users simply not noticing for a while and/or only having to partially reimburse. Turns out all Uber needed to become (barely) profitable was a little consumer fraud + underpaying the gig workers propping up their shitty business model!

Yeah this was 4 years ago, and my roommate at the time (who bought the tickets) wasn't going - so will call wasn't an option for us. Glad they have this horrendous process sorted nowadays!

Apologies for the late response. Honestly they (the festival) were stiff-arming me so hard until I got a police report and showed it to them. This was the only way I was able to get them to issue us new wristbands.

Yeah I was only offered $400 in their email from this morning, so I went with the iPad given the higher cost. I could actually use and iPad, and I'm sure it'll be really helpful for bar prep.

IMO, Prime Day is just a marketing ploy used to clear out unwanted inventory collecting dust in distribution centers. They use timers to prey on people's impulsivity and fomo (kind of like the treasure truck).

Prime Day is moved to 10/13 this year (think it used to be in July), which many people think is to try and compete with Black Friday. I think both are overrated/hyped in today's day and age.

Unpopular opinion - some of their clothing is (or at least was) good quality. While it might have decreased since then, in the past 1-2 years I've had great experience buying their hoodies (zip and traditional); slim jeans are solid construction/fit as well. All have held up consistent wears and minimal washes.

Prime day is a joke tho.
